DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE. The budget-priced Rede Andrade Barra redefines "you get what you pay for." Let me start with what's good about it: -LOCATION: It faces one of the most popular beaches in Salvador, in a neighborhood that is roughly the equivalent of Ipanema. -BREAKFAST: Every morning there is a free, plentiful, typically Brazilian breakfast spread. -GYM: The fitness room is well-stocked enough for you to get a decent workout. -FRONT-DESK STAFF: Mostly efficient and sincere. It's not their fault that the place is such a mess. They do a lot of apologizing. Because it's cheap, Rede Andrade Barra was packed during my eight-day stay (which started on the last day of Carnaval 2025). But it's clearly gone to seed. Among the charms I encountered: -The advertised WiFi didn't work. Sometimes it flickered on weakly for a minute. If you have business to do (or even need WiFi in order to call Ubers and such), you'll be furious. I was. -One of the two client elevators was out of order. The other moved so agonizingly slowly (the cleaning staff uses it but shouldn't) that I and a lot of other guests were reduced to taking the stairs in order to avoid five-minute rides. And I was on the 11th floor. -Graying, overwashed sheets with holes in them. No fitted sheets. Frayed towels. -The soap dish in my shower was falling out of the wall. -The hallways are un-air-conditioned and hotter than hell. -The place looks dirty and run-down. Need I say more?

Hotel muito bem localizado extrutura excelente porem, PÉSSIMAMENTE CONSERVADO apresentado alto grau de degradação. Café da manhã farto e variado com bom atendimento. Enxoval em péssimo estado puido, rasgado e algumas vezes sujo. Ótima ducha porem papelelra quebrada, secador com fio mal remendado, sabonetera quebrada. Elevadores para 6 passageiros de 3 um quebrado há muito tempo. Piscina mal tratada com forte concentração de cloro. Poltronas e outros equipamentos em péssima condição Funcionários com boa vontade e preparo mas sem autonomia e com dificuldade em resolver os inúmeros problemas que acontecem. Uma pena !!!! . .

A localização do hotel é muito boa, mas o hotel precisa de uma boa reforma. Os elevadores ruins e nem todos funcionavam. Tínhamos que esperar um tempão para subir ou descer. Não deveria cobrar estacionamento pra hóspede. E os itens do café como bolos, cuscuz podi ser mais saborosos e macios.

Já havia me hospedado no hotel em 2023. E achei que desta fez a qualidade caiu consideravelmente. O serviço de quarto vinha em horários aleatórios, não trocaram as toalhas, tivemos que solicitar após os 2 dias. E a limpeza foi apenas no banheiro (por solicitação nossa) e ainda assim não foi feita de forma adequada. Vazamento no box, a qual foi relatado na recepção, porém sequer foram verificar. Alguns atendentes simpáticos, outros bastante indiferentes, zero educados. Café da manhã bem ruim, mamão passado, aveia velha, com gosto ruim.
