Full kitchen I don't advertised. All rooms and the Suites have refrigerator, microwave, French press, coffee and tea, cutlery and more, but NO HOT PLATE, we not allowed. it's too bad my room or the Suite and service not deserve better points. Dear Veronica, I know that you wrote this review but are hiding behind a fake name on your account. Thank you for staying at my Bed & Breakfast but your review about my business is quite wrong. I do not advertise the second bed as being included in the price, it clearly states that there is a fee that is charged if guests decide to use the extra bed. Perhaps next time it is best if your read all the print on any company's site that you decide to stay at. Credit cards are not accepted as it IS stated on the Expedia site (once again, perhaps read ALL the print before booking a room). I am a small business and I have to pay 15% for taxes, Expedia also charges me 15% on every room that is booked through them. I have to purchase local groceries on an island that has higher prices then normal, hydro of course charges me when guests stay and my B&B, gas etc. In the end, there is not much left for me, not that I have to explain my personal finances to you. If you are not comfortable with my prices, you could have booked a room with any other B&B on the island. I am confused, how can you say on the one hand that my property is not "well maintained" and then you go on to say that "The property is pretty. The landscaping is very beautiful"? You are contradicting yourself. My property is well maintained, I do everything by hand all by myself. After reading your review, I went and checked all the lights and all of them are in working order so that statement that you had written was false. Other guests have stayed in the room after you and no one had any issues with the lights. My gate is working perfectly also, as you saw many guests come and leave during your stay. My Bed & Breakfast is 5 star, it is my passion and I put everything I have into it. Sincerely, Irina

We were very disappointed to read the review you left us following your stay at Armand Heights, as we felt that we had done everything we could to help alleviate your situation. Firstly I would like to tell you how inaccurate your review is. I would like to mention first of all, that you were confusing our other rooms with the room you booked. All of our other rooms have exactly what we put on the site, and we pride ourselves with that. You booked the Arbutus room, where as you were describing the Sky Suite, which is a completely different room. Also secondly, if something is not working in the room or is not inside, that would be because in the spring months you would not need a portable fan. In that case all you need to do is ask. As for the fire place, if it isn’t working (which we know full well that it does) all you had to do was ask us for help. You mention that there is nothing to do on Salt Spring and on our mountain. Yes, we live on a mountain, but you knew that prior to your booking where we are located, that being said what would you expect on a mountain? As for the not having anything to do on Salt Spring, all it takes is a little bit of driving around. We are an island with many hidden gems. For example visiting the local: artisan cheese, winding farm trails, secluded beaches, mossy forest hikes, incredible local art galleries, craft beer breweries. (and so much more!) Moving on to the 24 / hour service, and our check in time. Our 24 / hour service is valid as we always have someone on the property working or around (need we remind you that we have a 4 acre property, so it may be a while before someone sees you). As for our Check in times, if you read hotel.com(s) confirmation email that they sent you right after you booked, you will see that in our policy that check in is from 4 - 6pm, it is not our fault if you didn’t read them an
