Although we strive to make the check-in process smooth, It was very unfortunate the chain of events that took place during Ann’s arrival. After sending her the images of our check in process, Ann reached out saying that the door code was not in the instructions. I immediately headed her way to assist. When I arrived (5 minutes later) , I greeted Ann and apologize for her having difficulties with the process. Ann was somewhat hostile and abrasive, stating that in reality I have not sent the door code and she was following the COVID 19 protocols and wasn’t expecting to have any contact with me. Once again I apologize and helped her gain access to the unit. As I left the area, I checked once again the info that was sent. The instructions were complete and the code was present. I sent, once again, the screen shot with now the code highlighted. Apologizing for the the possible confusion and wishing her a nice stay. To my dismay, I received a text from Ann filled with expletives, accusing me of lying and not sending the full instructions to her. At this time, I responded the text firmly telling her that her behavior was inappropriate and disrespectful and there was no need fir such reaction because I went personally there and the issue was solved.. Ann was also frustrated when she found out she couldn’t watch her favorite TV show because there was no cable service (which is clearly stated in the unit’s description that the TV only operates via WiFi) Ann checked out from the unit on the same night and didn’t communicate her departure. When I found out a few days later, we cleaned the unit and opened the calendar for the remainder nights. I was able to rebook some nights and willingly sent Ann a partial refund, which she didn’t mention anything about on her review.

Thanks Mike for your sincere feedback, we always look at them as a tool to make the experience for our future guests better. Although the road had a repair going on and you couldn’t use the west entrance to access the parking area, you were given the alternate access through the south driveway, which you did use and had your car in the parking lot every night. Although the road repair was completely out of my control, we still found a way for you to keep your car safe in the proper spot. The no cable is explicitly stated in the description of the unit, I’m sorry you missed that and it was a disappointment. After you checked out we noticed that thermostat that individually controls the temperature in the bedroom was set at 75F. It could’ve been an easy fix if you would have voiced the concern in one of the text messages or conversations we had during your stay (almost daily). I’m sorry you had to go through this inconvenience. Besides all of that, I truly enjoy having you as a guest and hope to have the opportunity to make your next stay flawless. Take care
