It has magnificent views to the Mediterranean Sea and the picturesque white village of Salobreña, with its 15th century Moorish castle that is illuminated at night. The villa also has a private heated swimming pool (10 x 5 m) over a large terrace which is south facing, so you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. The bright and ample living room with integrated kitchen have a fantastic view through the glass front with sliding doors that give access to the terrace. There is a comfortable seating area and a dining table in both inside and outside. The outdoor seating area has a large awning, so you can choose whether you want to enjoy the beautiful view in the sun or in the shade. Next to the swimming pool there are comfortable sunbeds where you can relax sunbathing, combined with a swim in the large pool. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances, as well as a cooking island with a number of bar stools, so you can enjoy a wine together while cooking. On the terrace there is a gas BBQ where fresh daily fish can be prepared for a delicious meal. In the utility room you will find the washing machine, the dryer and the freezer. There are also two spacious bedrooms on this main floor. The master bedroom with king size bed and adjoining bathroom is suitable for people who use a wheelchair. The second bedroom with double bed has a separate bathroom. On the ground floor there are three tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two bedrooms have two single beds and one bedroom has a king size bed. The bathrooms are modern and equipped with a walk-in rain shower; one of them has a bath. The whole villa has central hot and cold air conditioning, which can be individually regulated in each room. The villa has WIFI and a large number of international TV channels. There is parking space for three cars on site. Villa Plata is located on the beautiful hillside Monte de los Almendros. The recreation area of ​​the hill is within walking distance. Guests can make free use of the communal tennis court, a large swimming pool, a children's pool, a football pitch and a playground. Additionally there is a small restaurant open during the summer months. The beach, restaurants and shops are within a 10-minute drive. The airports of Malaga, Granada or Almeria are easily accessible. There are many things to see and to do: the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada, where you can also hike, is less than 75 minutes away, so you can ski in the morning (from December to April) and in the afternoon you can relax on the beach or by the pool. The owner is apparently a wheelchair user so everything was absolutely spot on, no steps or narrow openings to worry about and the bathroom was fully accessible too. Even the pool had handrails available if needed. Beautiful location with views to die for. Lots of space to chill out and a huge comfortable lounge area to escape the sun. I can’t fault anything. It’s a shame there is nowhere to walk to other than a small bar at the communal swimming pool and that this was only open at weekends. The pool area is magnificent ample sunbeds and comfy seating and umbrellas to show you make comfortable in the heat of the day. The drive is very steep but manageable as a car is essential. The check-in process was quite challenging with the agents as they kept sending a link for us to complete ahead of our day and there was no option to select English for each of the people staying in the villa. Eventually we had to complete it with them on our arrival, but this could’ve been overcome. Have they given adequate instruction beforehand? This is a truly delightful place for a multi-generational family holday on the Tropical Coast. The villa is beautifully designed and lives up completely to the description and photos on Vrbo. The pool is an excellent size and, when heated to 22C, it was perfect for hours of family fun. The bedrooms are fine - not luxurious, but perfectly functional. Great to have four bathrooms with excellent showers, but they are quite small. Once you get used to the steep ramp up to the car parking area, it is fine, with space for three cars. More would be tricky. The general environment is mature, attractive and well maintained. The road up to the villa is lovely, but quite narrow and without any pavement for pedestrians. A car is essential. The agents for the propety, based at Hotel Miba, were very welcoming anf helpful. They have provided a wide range of excellent information in a handbook in the villa. The Mercadona supermarket, about ten minutes from the villa is modern and very well stocked, and has its own extensive parking on two floors. ##### Roger C. Dock måste man ha bil för att förflytta sig och man kan inte promenera alls då det är slingrande smala vägar för biltrafik. Detta framgick inte av annonsen och utgjorde ett hinder för oss då vi hade småbarn med oss. Annars var det ett härligt ställe att bo på. ##### Ilian H. The villa was beautiful and so were the views but the villa wasn’t very clean and missing things like oven gloves, pegs for hanging washing, sharp knives. We stayed for 2 weeks and we didn’t have a cleaner come in half way through our stay and we had to strip our beds and remake them after the first week, very unusual, normally a villa is cleaned after week 1. ##### Shaun M. Sehr schöner Aussenbereich mit großzügigem Pool und toller Aussicht auf das Meer. Das Haus liegt auf einem Berg mit ca. 2 km runter nach Salobrena bzw.an die Strände. Strände sind kieselig. Alles in allem ist dieser Ort touristisch noch nicht so überlaufen, was uns gut gefiel. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. ##### Martina S. Zu jedem Zimmer ein Bad, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit Maschinen und Geschirr und für unseren rollstuhlfahrenden Freund war alles so eingerichtet, dass er sehr selbstständig sein konnte. Auch die Sicht auf das Meer war natürlich fantastisch. Was ich besonders hervorheben möchte, ist die Kommunikation zwischen Vermieter und Verwaltung. Beide waren sehr zu unserem Wohl besorgt. Ein Wort und jedes kleinste Problem wurde sofort oder innerhalb von ein paar Stunden gelöst. Für uns hätte es nicht besser sein können. Dieser Ort trägt sehr zu erholsamen Ferien bei.
