We stayed in the Pee Wee Airstream for a different experience. It was cute and clean; nothing fancy, but we knew that when we booked. Communal bathroom was large and clean. a/C and heat in the trailer was great we were very comfortable. Overall if you’re looking for a basic accommodation in Salida at a reasonable price this is a good choice.

Great spot in Salida, updated rooms that included some humor, quirky decor and paid attention to the details. Great outdoor space with hot tub, hammocks, sitting areas, fire pit, games and social spaces. Staff was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Very cool vintage motor lodge. Very clean, nice staff. The Airstreams are a nice addition, however we stayed in one of the rooms. The rooms have been rehabbed with really nice touches. The only two drawbacks were the lack of a pool, which would have been nice, and the window air conditioner was not adequate for the summer heat. It was in the 80's during the day and the AC couldn't keep up.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. (We couldn’t figure out the tv. And we didn’t hesitate to ask because he was so nice. Forgive me for not knowing his name.) The room had fun decor. Modern but not fussy. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet. Coffee and good pastries in the morning. We’d stay there again! R&H
