Surface cleaning was good but a deep clean of furniture and underneath is needed. Internet worked well but did crash several times and needed rebooting of router. There are multiple levels leading to the living area and one of the bedrooms, seemingly due to it being a converted carport. The location is about 5-6 block walk to downtown. It’s an easy walk. The street is a little busy so we had to be careful parking and getting into our cars sometimes. I think it was just because there was a lot of summer traffic and they don’t follow the speed limit. We enjoyed the following shops: YOLO, RUBY BLUES, and a couple art galleries. We ate at AMICA’s, Sweeties, Robyn’s and Bensons! All had super friendly staff and food was amazing!! Salida is GEM & our host Kristi made it a smooth stay! Functional house for 6 adults. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the traffic noise was not an issue. A few maintenance issues such as loose towel racks and flushing mechanisms should be addressed. Cloth kitchen towels could be supplied to lessen the use of paper towels. A print out of how to operate the Roku would be very helpful. Soap in the showers would be good. Or if not let renters know. Likewise for coffee.
