Little Wren for spring break
Little Wren worked really well as a base of operations for our family trip (2 adults, two kids 9 & 13, and a dog) to Salida over spring break. The location was convenient for accessing Monarch, and even getting up Leadville and Ski Cooper wasn’t too bad.

Wonderful
Two of us with our two dogs stayed over a long weekend and had great time. The home is nicely planned and comfortable. Having an area for the dogs was super convenient. The location is in close proximity to downtown Salida, hiking, and biking trails. We really enjoyed ourselves and would be back.

Lovely Little House in Salida
We spent three nights at this cute little house in Salida and had a wonderful time--all 6 of us. All the beds were comfy. Our kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft space. The fold out couch was comfortable too. When we arrived everything was very clean and nice! We cooked some of our meals at the home and everything turned out great. :) The hosts are very caring and thoughtful.

Salida get away
It was hot so thankful for the AC. We were very comfortable although a lot smaller than we’re used to. Amenities were great, we used the grill and dishwasher. Location wasn’t great, in with a bunch of old trailers, finding the dumpster was a challenge. We didn’t turn the tvs on but the Wi-Fi worked great. The dog next door pooped in front of the gate. The porch with curtains were very nice to have afforded a little privacy and shade.

Beautiful Salida
We loved our first visit to Salida! This place is just over a mile from downtown. Perfect for our stay with a dog. Early checking was appreciated.

Beautiful Views
The tiny house was everything it was described to be. The amenities are like a larger property without the fuss. Salida is a lovely small town but not too far away from other attractions in larger towns. Downtown is great. The host was great to work with and I would recommend this property to anyone.

Nice place to stay. Great location
Pros: Location, cleanliness, price was right, had all the things we needed (for cooking/relaxing). Cons: Furnace is LOUD (at least in the bedroom), our dog picked up some goatheads in the backyard, might be a good idea to bring booties for your furry friends. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. It's a nice location right off US50 with a walkable neighborhood along the river pretty near. It's maybe a bit too far to walk to downtown but a quick bike ride/drive. 2 adults, a teenager, and a dog were cozy but not cramped. Any more would be tough. Would definitely stay here again.

Little Wren
The tiny house was very clean and close to downtown and local roads. There were clear directions about all the appliances and we received accurate information about check in and check out. Everything was seamless. The house itself was comfortable and lovely. The holiday decorations were an extra dividend. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for being so welcoming and organized.

Cute, efficient and squeaky clean!
The tiny house was a fun stay. The only thing I'd change in the description is the sleeping arrangements--one bedroom and one loft with a very low ceiling--to low to stand. The venue was very well-appointed, delightfully clean and fun to experience. Highly recommended.

Monarch Ski Weekend
Great little spot to relax in the evening after a day of skiing. 30min from Monarch. May need to take a couple Benadryl to sleep through the sound of the heater

Family Ski Trip
Our family of 5 fit comfortably in this house. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We were happy to have the washing machine, dryer, and full kitchen. Town was close and convenient to drive to. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here!

Excellent Tiny House in Salida
This is a great property located within walking distance of downtown Salida. It was the perfect size for us and our dog and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Would go back in a heartbeat. Communication with Bill was easy and he was always just a phone call away

We loved staying at Little Wren. The home has all the amenities and is very cozy. The owners are very communicative and willing to assist with any questions you may have. We would love to return to Little Wren on our next adventure to Salida!

Perfect Rental!
I cannot think of 1 negative thing to say about this rental property. The place is perfect- very clean to say the least, excellent location, has all the amenities you will need, and hosts are hands down some of the most kind people I have come across in awhile. We will without a doubt be staying here on our next visit. Highly recommended... you will have no regrets!

Cute tiny house
Our family of 4 stayed here over spring break and it worked well for what we needed. The kitchen was equipped well so we could have breakfasts and some dinners at “home” before we headed up to Monarch. The only downside was it is located in a sort of run down trailer park. We wished this would’ve been closer to downtown so we could walk to the adorable Salida downtown area. The hosts were very friendly and quick to respond, though!

Great house!
We loved the little house! It was so much better than a hotel and worked perfectly for us. My young daughters loved sleeping in the loft and the rest of the house provided plenty of room. I really liked how the kitchen table converted from small to large. The location was great too as it only took 20 minutes to drive to Monarch to ski. Great place!

Little Wren perfect little house
We really enjoyed our stay, the tiny home was beautifully modern. The mini laundry was a much needed bonus after daily hikes and skiing. Actually meeting our host was another perk, he provided a quick tour and gave us tips as well as a lovely bottle of wine and a coupon for the best sandwich in the State of CO!!! I could live in that cute little house!! Thank you for everything!

Good base for skiing
Small, but well equipped. We had everything we needed for a few days at Monarch. The only downside is the absurdly loud heater, which kept waking me up at night.

We were so pleased with the Little House, and appreciated immediate contact/replies with Bill and Hillary, especially since our stay was cut short because my husband was injured in a ski accident and helicoptered to Colorado Springs. We look forward to returning next summer to resume our stay.

Great place to stay for the New Year
Our family of 4 stayed here over New Years and used this as a base camp for skiing and snowmobiling in the area. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for making our meals. The loft area was a perfect place for the kiddos to sleep. We were welcomed in person and greeted with a bottle of local vino! Overall good trip!

Great tiny house in Salida
Great tiny house in Salida. my family of four recently stayed in the little Wren. The owners are very kind and accommodating and even let us check in a bit early when we got to town ahead of .schedule.?The upstairs loft Has a very low ceiling. Both my nine-year-old son and my six-year-old daughter ended up sleeping up there and both hit their head on the ceiling. I’m not sure if the loft would be good for adults. My family cooked several meals and the house was stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed. We would definitely consider staying there again.
