The en suite bathroom in each bedroom gave us all the privacy we needed, while the living/kitchen area had plenty of room to gather when we weren't out on the trail, sightseeing or just enjoying quaint, historical downtown Salida. It’s nice to have a kitchen that actually has what you need. The build appears nearly brand new as of writing this review. Very easy walk to all dining establishments and the river. A few drawbacks, the home is not adequately furnished for a 600 (including all fees and taxes) a night rental. The master bedroom did not have a king bed and the living room furniture was not comfortable and lacking a coffee table. In my opinion, the tv should be moved above the fireplace which would allow for a sectional and a few nice chairs. Also, the total price included on the search page did not include insurance (which was required) and the pet fee.
