house had a great layout and was clean and well organized. The location was in walking distance to downtown. Which we loved and took advantage of. It's a perfect half way point to meet our children from Denver and one granddaughter.

Wonderful Stay
Great stay! Everything was very clean, lots of amenities (bikes, hot tub, etc), and great little area. Neighborhood wasn't in a richer area of town, but everyone was quiet and there weren't any issues at all, so don't judge this little home based off the area (again, it really isn't a terrible area!!). We had a less than 30 min drive to Monarch which was absolutely perfect and you're very close to the cute downtown area. I would definitely stay here again with our large group and would recommend this place to everyone!

House was great for our family vacation if 5 adults. it was cute, clean and well furnished. Hot tub was nice after a day of skiing. Close to downtown restaurants, but set up well also for cooking in. Thanks Wendy!

Perfect Home for a Family Getaway
We selected this home due to location, size for our family and the lovely backyard as we were bringing our dog too! The pictures were great but it looked even better in person! The hot tub is the best bonus. Nothing better after a day of hiking or biking. The home has everything you need and more. Kitchen is stocked, games galore, even toys if you happen to have little kids. They’ve really thought of everything. We will definitely be back!

Great location!
Very nice location in Salida. Walking distance to large park and close to downtown where you could walk if you wanted or use one of the bikes for a quick trip. Property had everything we needed for our family. Wish our trip was longer!

We have stayed here twice now and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Such an awesome location in Salida and a very comfortable spot for our large family. We even used the bikes this time and our teens loved the hot tub! We will be back!!!

Excellent stay, 3rd time here!
This house is perfect for our 2 families with kids, skiing at monarch. the kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels, clean and warm hot tub, the alexa speaker and cable tv are a nice bonus! will stay here every time we come to Salida! we love it, summer, or winter! Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway
This house perfectly accommodated my family (3 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog) for a Thanksgiving Getaway. The vibe and layout of the house are great, as is the proximity to downtown and the river. It was quiet and the hot tub provided a lovely way to relax.

Well appointed house
Worked perfectly for a party of 6. Plenty of parking for our trucks amd trailers. (Enclosed dirt bike). The fleet of available bicycles was a nice touch and made access to the downtown bars and restaurants a fun experience.

Great place for a young family
My husband and I stayed with our 3yr old and 10mos old. We hugely appreciated the toys and kid-friendly backyard. Plenty of space to spread out inside and everything was clean. It is a full 15 min walk through the neighborhood to the grocery, shops/restaurants and playground in town, but it’s also wonderfully quiet at night! We’d recommend, especially for a young family. Thanks for a great stay!

This place had everything we needed and was absolutely perfect for two families of 4. The kids loved all the toys, and the adults felt this was the most well-appointed place we had ever stayed. Nice place to stay!
My family of four and two small pups enjoyed three nights in this clean and spacious home. There is plenty of room to spread out and a cozy living area to gather and watch movies. Walking distance to town. We didn’t cook much (so many restaurants to sample) but the kitchen seemed well equipped. Cute back yard with a hot tub for a soak at the end of the day!

Great stay!
We had a great time at this property! We were a family of 4 with a 1yo and 3yo and the house was perfect for us - lots of toys for the kids to play with, fenced in back yard, bikes/tricycle in the garage, bunk beds, etc. As others have mentioned, the property is actually nicer than displayed in the pictures, as the property owners clearly value the property and have put a lot of work into it. It's about a ~10 min+ walk into town, very easy, or a pleasant 5 min bike ride. We were out and about quite a bit, but when we were home, really enjoyed the yard, having meals outside, letting the kids run around, hot tub at night or in the morning (as others mentioned, the hot tub is really a 2 adult sized hot tub with some space for others to semi sit in as well, so not huge but very nice). Also, I don't think this is in the description but the house also has a swamp cooler in the living room which is a huge bonus for hot August afternoons, and very much a rare find in this area. Host was very responsive to my questions before booking and everything was otherwise smooth! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Fantastic getaway in Salida
The property exceeded all of our expectations. The owner clearly puts a lot of work into maintaining it. The beds were comfortable, the small details were appreciated (extra toothbrushes in the bathroom, bikes in the garage), and the backyard with the hot tub was fabulous. Walking distance to downtown but on a quiet street. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

What a great new find in Salida!
We come up every year from Colorado Springs to ski and love Salida. First time at this very clean, cute, and spacious house. The outdoor area is really nice with the little fire pit and outdoor seating. The hot tub was smaller than I expected but still worked for us. Nice inside space, great little kitchen, and clear instructions for setting the heat, etc. Thanks so much, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for making our own meals , the mattresses/bedrooms were comfortable, and the living/office space enabled us to spread out and be comfortable. Although temperatures were cold during our stay, the house was warm and cozy. We were thrilled with the yard and the ability to bring our pups. Wendy was very responsive, and even sent me something that I left at the home by accident. You are within easy walking distance of downtown. I would recommend.

I’m not sure about dirty dishes and human hair. I think the renter may have been upset about the extra cleaning charge when he wrote his review. Unfortunately this renter decided it was ok to shoot Confetti paper all over the backyard for New Years. It also blew into the neighbors property. There was so much of it the neighbors asked the renters to clean it up. The renters told the neighbors they would and then did not. Very disrespectful to the property and the neighbors. I would not recommend these renters and I have never said that in all my years of Property Management.

Great family house!
