Nice hotel clean and plenty of room

Nice and clean. Comfortable bed clean sheets. Stayed for three nights had no issues with the room.

I opted for this hotel out of many for my daughter as it included breakfast both mornings and included a dinner for two. Upon arriving she asked and was told as that it was a single booking she could have included dinner for one both nights. Then she was informed as she had to leave early each morning the only available breakfast was continental. She was also informed the kitchen was busy that first night so if she wanted any dinner it could only be fish and chips. The second night she went to get her included dinner and was informed no dinner, kitchen is shut. Bad choice. There were lots of other options of hotels and I should have booked a different one. Normally for her rural placements they just ask what time she requires her cooked breakfast and deliver it then.

Nice motel. Cheap and Basic

Pros: Good price, nice and easy, lots of room.
Cons: Maybe they could include a microwave and a toaster so people can at least heat up food.
Location: Location is great. Easy access to Sale and the shops by a 4-5 minute drive.
Nice place to stay. Room was of a good size and had a couch. No cooking facilities but they do have a jug for cups of tea and coffee. Really nice staff and good room to stay in. I will definitely consider on return trips to Sale.

Location: A proximité pas grand chose à faire Des intérêts plutôt sur la côte à une 30aine de kms
Passage d'une nuit lors de notre voyage en famille avec deux enfants en bas âge. Réservation de deux chambres reliées. Personnel trés attentif à nos besoins. PAs d'intérêt particulier aux alentours, très bien pour une nuit de passage

Not what I would expect from the Ibis chain.

Advertised restaurant open Mon to Thurs. When we arrived were told it was closed and there was one next door. It was a very dodgy looking place so had to drive into town for a meal. No iron. Water only warm in shower for a short while then went cold. Bed was good, nice sheets the room was clean.

Bistro was not open because we are doing renovations. Apart from the restaurant next door (which no-one has ever described as 'dodgy' before, in fact quite the opposite), there is the Greyhound Club restaurant 300 metres away as well as a variety of restaurants just 1km down the road. Every room has an iron, without exception. But if by any chance you could not find it, all you had to do was ask. Each room has its own hot water cylinder which gives a 7 minute hot shower, then takes 15-20 minutes to reheat. There is a notice in every bathroom advising this. It is something which is beyond our control as its been the same way for over 30 years - since the motel was built.

Booking issues, but a good location on the highway

Pros: The room was clean and the cleaner was very lovely.
Cons: Management change, customer service training, or at least spending 5 minutes a day to check if there are any new bookings.
Location: It is 2km for the CBD of Sale where there's a few supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
Upon arrival, my confirmed booking five days earlier was never received because the hotel staff had not check reservations and then needed to try to find a suitable room for me to stay. This meant I needed to pay onsite, and the following day money was removed from our credit card because the staff finally logged into their booking system so we had paid twice. Thankfully LastMinute refunded our moneys and I will not be staying at Ibis Styles again for this reason of management oversight and lack of diligence in checking their reservation systems more frequently than every 5 days+ (not at all suitable if it really was a LastMinute booking!

Like staying in a 1970's hotel.

Cons: Total re-modernisation and new hot water and heating system.
Room was generally clean, but there is no 'sparkle' because everything is so old and tired. I haven't seen a motel like this for ages. Air conditioner is too noisy to run (but works well if you can stand the noise). Sliding door doesn't seal correctly - if you don't push it in right there is a visible gap to let the wind in. Double bed was comfortable. However the best thing was the notice in the shower. It warns that you have 7 minutes worth of hot water and after that you have to wait 15 minutes for more. So clearly they anticipate quick-showing single person bookings. Almost popped that up onto Facebook. Needs work - a lot of work.
