The kitchen has the essentials for cooking (olive oil, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, coffee). To ensure the proper functioning of the water treatment plant, at Casa Macu we provide guests with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and dish soap. All bungalows have access to a surfboards rack, bathroom and outside showers. If you are interested in booking a massage at Casa Macu, ask for the contact number to the host. The Neighborhood: La Saladita offers one of the best surf spots in the world; its waves are consistent throughout the year. It is an exceptional place for both beginners and advanced surfers, since in the surroundings there are a great variety of waves for all levels. Where to eat at La Saladita: a) Lourdes by LOOT (in front of the surf point) b) Benny's (next to Jacqueline's houses) c) Oli (on one side of the access to the fishermen's boats) d) Ilianet (towards the houses furthest from the surf point) e) Marejada (Jorge and Paty) has delicious hamburgers. f) El Chilaquil (Paty and Jorge) amazing food beachfront (IG elchilaquil\_saladita) g) Marea (A place in front of the surf point to eat and drink (there are pizzas). h) Barracuda House (IG Barracuda House) i) Hacienda Coffee & Tea (IG surfcity\_mx) ... My favorite place to eat is in Troncones (15-20 min drive from Saladita) called Lo Sereno (IG losereno\_casadeplaya) Surfboards rentals: A) Lourdes Surf Shop B) Chucho Surf Shop (next to Benny's) C) Enramada Oly (Sergio, next to the boat access) D) Brandon Surf Boards (with Chucho) There are also other activities in the area to complement your trip: Fishing Yoga Walks along virgin beaches Bike rides Horse trips Hot Springs Turtle watching (May-August) Whale watching (December-March) Turtle release (July-November) Iguanarium Getting Around: La Saladita is a walkable community. Restaurants and the surf spot are close to Casa Macu and it is not necessary to rent a car. If you want to buy things to eat you can stop at the supermarket in Zihuatanejo (Mega Soriana, near the airport) or once you are in the area, buy basic things in the stores of the nearest town (Los Llanos). If your level of surfing is intermediate or advanced, renting a car will allow you to visit other nearby surf spots. For taxi service, ask for the contact number. Casa Macu has a preferential rate for transfers from the airport to La Saladita, as well as a car rental company that offers a very good service. Other Things to Note: Caring for the environment is very important to us, which is why Casa Macu has equipment for power generation and solar water heating, a water treatment plant, and a waste separation process. \*Important only for Vrbo, Booking and Direct bookings\* a) Casa Macu offers a custom Cancellation Policy for all guests Bookings canceled at least 60 days before check-in will receive 93% refund. Please keep your dog under your supervision. 6\. Pick up your pet's droppings immediately and dispose of them properly in the designated trash bin. This is essential to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests. 6\. Do not use Casa Macu towels to dry your pet. 8\. Keep your dog with a leash when using common areas. 9\. Help us honor the silent hours in Casa Macu. If your dog is barking please assist your pet. 10\. As part of the check-in process you'll need to cover the $500 usd Pet Security Deposit refundable after your stay.
