We loved how close the train station we were. The staff was always helpful and we were able to store our luggage before checking in and after checking out. Our room was really large and we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning. They are remodeling and updating the hotel. It should be really nice!

The manager and staff are very friendly, welcoming and so obviously love running a hotel and making guests feel at home. The room is spacious and pristine which must take a ton of effort because parts of the hotel infrastructure are a bit worn down and could do with a renovation. The welcome biscuits were a nice touch although I sadly have a dairy intolerance so could not eat them but the other member of my party sniffled them up. The aircon is a must especially with it being 40C outside. It seemed to be struggling a bit so that may need investment. I loved how the hotel is nestled in the hills and a short walk to La Cite of Carcassone. The swimming pool was very welcome in the long afternoons.
