About this property

Le Petit Moulin, tranquil renovated watermill

  • Le Petit Moulin was the grain mill for the hamlet. It has been sympathetically modernised to create a characterful home and is set in large tranquil gardens with fig, olive and walnut trees. The lawn reaches down to the Maroule, the small river which once served the mill.
The mill is 5 minutes from Olargues, one of the 'Les Plus Beaux Villages de France' in the parc naturel du Haut Languedoc. The hamlet is in the foothills of the Caroux mountain with delightful walks directly from the house.
The region offers spectacular features (hiking, mountain biking, canyoning), medieval towns with Cathar history and wine-tasting opportunities in the many vineyards which lie between Olargues and the coast.
