An easy 10 minute walk from the train station and very close to the town centre, it came with a very pleasant welcome from Harold on reception (a credit to the hotel speaking excellent English for a self-taught Cote d'Ivoirian!)
An excellent modern room with the benefit of a kitchen area in a safe, quiet and very comfortable at a good price

Great location, fantastic chef/owner who is very personable and always cares about the patrons. Been returning to this hotel for the past 8 years. The food, wine pairing are incredible reflecting the talent and the passion of the owner. Wonderful Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany, on the edge of the Black Forest. Spa and pool complete the package and its location ideal for a short stop to continue travel to France, north or south Germany or for spending a few days exploring Freiburg.

Breakfast had the best Kouglhopf of our entire stay in Alsace!
Hotel clean, quiet and not far from centre or from museums. Shame most shops and restaurants were closed on Sunday

Second day no heating i was suplied with a heater from the reception BEWARE !!!! There is a concrete flower pot on a parking place not marked very low you do not notice it until you hit it and damage your car. I told the reception clerk he said Oh uou are not ghe only one but did noghing to mark ...
