After a car breakdown we found ourselves unexpectedly at this hotel. We stayed three nights and the staff were exceptional. A very helpful lady helped us with our bags and she was able to provide us with help. In fact all the staff were friendly and really tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as it was. Enjoyed staying in a chateau in town. Charles the owner was very welcoming and gave us a tour around his home. If you want to stay in a modern hotel with all the amenities this is probably not the place for you. But if you want charecter and personal service you will not regret it. Breakfast in front of the log fire surrounded by artwork overlooking the park from your 18th century drawing room was an experience we will always remember.
