"This was a lovely apartment to spend two weeks celebrating our 50th Anniversary. Some of the highlights were the beautiful view, just steps to the beach, and walking distance to the yummy bakery, cute shops and great restaurants. We rode the train from the CDG Paris airport, walked the 10 minutes to the apartment and did not need to rent a car. The apartment is well-furnished and it was a pleasure to meet Bertrand. "Our family really enjoyed staying in Dominique's apartment. The apartment was very clean and the location was an easy walk to town or the train station. Everyone really liked staying here. There was a little confusion on check in but everything worked out great. The only surprise was no bathroom towels. Luckily we had our travel towels. "We stayed here because of the 4/ 5 star rating reviews , for us it did not stand up to portrayed as that. The veranda is very nice , but the bedrooms and bathroom has no natural light. Sophie and Denis are very nice hosts , and will help you in any way they can . The village of ASCAIN is very good for numerous walks , and you have a good choice of bars and restaurants , which is 5mins by car , and the coast is not too far away.
