Old style hotel. I had a great sea view. Bed comfortable and slept well. Room serviced each day. Breakfast included and was good and plenty enough. Good value for money. Lift was not working so had to lug my suitcase up to the 3rd floor.

Excellent room. The downside was there were no other teas, and the television had no internet connection - only Sky. Could not connect to other options... Expensive but very nice.

Welcoming staff, Room was very comfortable and housekeeping was excellent room made up to a high standard every day of stay.
Breakfast was very good ate in restaurant 2 nights of stay food was really nice.
Excellent location on seafront near electric tram and steam railway
To sum up we all have enjoyed our stay at the Empress hotel

The owners, Robert and KC are amazing humans. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
They were friendly, easy to talk to and the continental breakfast each morning was amazing.
Fresh fruit grown on-site, homemade banana muffins and homemade jams available.
The grounds were extensive, well kept and accessable to all guests.
Suit was spacious, clean, private and comfortable.
The highlight was the robotic lawn mower, MIIMO which my daughter was fascinated with.
Will definitely be staying again.
Thank you both for making a sad occasion a little less sad 😁
