Hotel is just minutes from the ferry port by taxi and the boardwalk along the beach is within walking distance. Waterfront view from the breakfast room is gorgeous. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Property is undergoing renovation to make entry more wheelchair accessible, but side entry is quite navigable.

Absolutely amazing! The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the location is perfect with the beach across the street and easy access to the Intra-Muros while also being quiet. It was so inexpensive for what we got, absolutely blown away!

A 4 star hotel between town centre and the historic part of St Malo, right on the sea front. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The standard twin room was a good size and the bathroom was large by hotel standards.

Great location, waterfront views, spotless hotel.
Very friendly staff. Great location on the waterfront. Rooms where cleaned daily, not ridiculously early which was good. Breakfast catered for all hot, cold, cereal etc. Great selection. Cosy, comfy stylish decor in lobby. Rooms great large size with everything you needed.

Quiet, clean helipful staff. Close to old town Saint-Malo. Just prepare to find on street parking ($4 per day).

The staff provided excellent service. They went above and beyond to assist. It was a welcome relief after a challenging day. Lovely location on the sea front which I would recommend. Good value for money.

Good overnight stop over
Just an overnight stay, but perfectly good and close to st Malo for a night out. Right on the beach and lots of street parking around. We didn't eat here so we can't comment on the food. Comfy bed, large room, bathroom a bit dated with a very small shower, but all perfectly ok for the price

Lovely clean friendly hotel. Very close to shops and restaurants. Buffet breakfast but wouldn't recommend evening meal as expensive for what it is.

On the promenade
We stayed in a triple room for two nights. The room was comfortable for 3 people. It seemed newly renovated and bedding and linen was in good condition. We left some of our luggage here overnight when we travelled to Jersey and Guernsey. The location is close to the walled city of St Malo and the promenade is across the street. Recommend taking advantage of the hotel breakfast as breakfast in the walled city is more expensive.

Horrible bed!
The bed is extremely hard and the room hot! Even after setting the temperature down, the room was still so hot! We slept with the window open in December!!!

Wonderful Hotel in All Respects!
I loved my 2 night stay. I upgraded to get a room with full sea view having stayed at other hotels booked through Hotels.com that had offered no view. The upgrade was worth it. My room was very clean, comfortable and was well and tastefully furnished. It had tea/coffee making facilities. The optional buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The reception staff also spoke excellent English

Brilliant Family Ferry Overnight Stay
Hotel was excellent - very friendly service lovely breakfast (didn't expect the sausage, egg and bacon alongside the croissants and pastries and cereal) Rooms were large, comfortable and clean Shower was powerful and warm - double bonuses on other places!! Great location on front Parked nearby on road (shame not a larger carpark - but that's 1 minor point) We will come back here again

Great location extremely helpful staff tasty breakfast 1st class experience We'll be coming back to St Malo and the Mercure Front de Mer in future as its perfect for a family of 5 to use as a base for a long weekend or a stopping point ahead of ferry crossings.

Lovely location right on the waterfront in St Malo. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the beautiful walled town. Parking on the roads is free so don't bother paying for it.

Smart hotel.
Smart hotel. Very close to the beach and 5 minute walk to the infra muros. Hotel parking limited and at tags tins we arrived public parking although plentiful was rather full. We were in the attic and so room was large bug lacked head room particularly in the shower. A lovely stay
