Such a great hotel in a wonderful location- I would absolutely recommend it to everyone

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely swimming pools. Great setting and easy to get to Beynac. Hard to find using the SatNav. Could have better directions in the booking confirmation.

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. Unfortunately didn’t manage to have proper dinner as didn’t book in time - the restaurant is only small. Breakfasts were a highlight already though! We had a lovely family room which was a...

Absolutely stunning place!

Agnes was amazing. Phoned ahead to say we would be delayed and arrive after front desk closed. Quickly sent a text to me detailing room no. Room code and wi-fi code. Took pressure off us on our late flight. Next morning she gave us some free coffees as we missed breakfast. A bubbly super friendly and helpful lady. Directions, iron borrowing etc. Room clean quiet cool (41 degrees outside!) Cleaning staff all running around motivated and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing place, so clean and great value for money.

We had a great stay at La bayardine. Our studio was lovely, very clean and had all the facilities anyone could need. Breakfast was great and came along with suggestions of what we could do in the area. Great location with beautiful views and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. Thank you Frank and Nelly. A' bientot. John and Sue.

We came for a weekend in the region and were very well looked after by the owners and their staff. Design was high spec and fitted with the local architecture. Food in the restaurant was great at breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend!

Small but friendly hotel in the centre of a medieval village. Set in a very narrow street yet unaffected by noise, while the room did not enjoy a view per se, opening the Juliet balcony allowed you a great insight into the heart of French village life. The room was well appointed, scrupulously cleaned and maintained.Muriel the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for four nights and would recommend it to anyone. Parking was in a free public car park three minutes walk...

Kind courteous and accommodating host and hostess. A beautiful chateau in lovely surroundings. The local area and restaurants deserve further investigation. As recommended by our hostess- Restaurant Petite Tonnelle definitely worth a visit. 5 stars. Thank you

Excellent stay and charming hosts

The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

Perfect position in Belvès. Pascale and her team were friendly, welcoming and hard-working. And so very helpful! We were touched by Pascale’s kindnesses.

Absolutely perfect in every way! Excellent and friendly hosts, great place, great location! Would hope to return and certainly recommend it to others. Breakfast was excellent too!

This chamber d’hotes is situated on a plateau above Sarlat, and has magnificent 360 degree views. The owners and hosts are very helpful and provide a lovely continental breakfast to start the day.

What a lovely hotel to stay for a few days and explore the local area. Our room was very clean and comfortable with aircon and a minibar. The pool area was stunning and a perfect place to cool down in the recent heatwave. Christine was so welcoming and suggested different places to visit whilst we were there. Yes it’s up a hill but really not too bad to walk back up from the town if you take it steady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat.
