    La Clusaz is an authentic village where tradition and modernity meet. Its traditional chalets and lively streets attract mountain enthusiasts in search of a lively setting with Savoyard charm. Located in the heart of the Aravis massif, 30 minutes from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod, its warm atmosphere and easy access make it a popular destination all year round.

    In winter, the resort gives access to the Aravis ski area, which totals 210 km of slopes combining long descents and technical sectors, around La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region offers a variety of winter activities, such as Nordic skiing, dog sledding, sledging, mountain biking on snow and ice diving.

    The rest of the year, many trails lead to the emblematic passes of the Aravis as well as to the Glières plateau. The village has an aquatic centre with activities for all ages and a wellness area, and the proximity to Lake Annecy also allows swimming, paddle boarding and sailing. Hiking, mountain biking, via ferrata, climbing and paragliding complete a fulfilling and rejuvenating summer offer.

    In spring or summer, there is no shortage of activities. The ski slopes become green pastures criss-crossed by hiking and mountain biking trails.

    Walk to the Col des Aravis, or to the via ferrata base and you may spot chamois or marmots. Enjoy the magical panoramas of the Mont Blanc range all along the Col.

    Sections of the ski lifts are open on certain summer days. Take your mountain bike to the mountains of La Clusaz or Merdassier and then descend at your own pace. For a memorable day, hire donkeys for the day at a farm in the Col des Aravis for a trek, try horse riding, climbing or paragliding.

    Just 35 minutes away, the medieval town of Annecy offers a wide choice of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums. You can enjoy golf, swimming, boating and other water sports in the cleanest lake in Europe.

    When the sun disappears behind the peaks, relax by sharing dinner in one of the resort's restaurants and or enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace of your chalet.
