To reach a little further along a small path which runs along the coast and which accesses the large Domino beach at 600 meters! It is a children's paradise. Domino is located in the town of St Georges d'Oléron and has, in addition to its 4,700 Hectares, 16 km of fine sandy beach, you can also visit the bird marsh at Dolus, and St Pierre with its pedestrian streets and the port of the Cotinière. Accueil et décoration absente. Pas de réseau dans le quartier et pas de box wifi: nous avons passé 2 semaines totalelent déconnectés, ce qui est peu pratique pour rechercher des lieux à visiter par exemple. Équipements ménager à compléter : ciseaux, matériel de fruits de mer, couverts à salade... ect. Nous aurions aimé avoir dans la maison quelques dépliants sur l'île, les activités, les médecins, les restaurants, lieux touristiques... Manque une table de nuit dans une des chambres, 2 chambres sur 3 très petites. Invasion de fourmis: beaucoup de trous sont à boucher et à réparer pour éviter ça. Avec 4 enfants, la maison est habitable s'il fait beau, mais est un peu spartiate d'un point de vue équipement. Nous (4 adultes) avons passé un magnifique séjour ensoleillé dans cette belle maison de Domino très accueillante, bien équipée, entourée d'un large jardin fleuri avec une terrasse très bien équipée également. La maison est très agréable, confortable, au calme, très proche de la mer et de la pointe de Chaucre, située dans un quartier tranquille. En vélo, on se rend facilement au marché journalier de Domino ou à la boulangerie et dans les petits commerces. A pied, on est rapidement dans les restaurants de la pointe de Chaucre. Nous avons séjourné à deux familles, 4 adultes et 3 enfants dont un bébé. Vaste jardin parfait pour les enfants. Nous avons pris tous les repas à l’extérieur sur la terrasse. La rue est très calme. Le bourg est accessible à vélo ou en voiture. Une plage idéale pour la pêche à pied est à 5 minutes et celle pour la baignade à 15 minutes à pied. Nous recommandons vivement pour des vacances simples et reposantes. ##### Marie M. La maison dispose de tout le confort souhaitable, tout est bon état et en parfaite état de marche...Beaucoup de placards (un dans chacune des chambres), vaisselle en quantité largement suffisante, barbecue, salon de jardin, transats, parasols... Bref nous étions une famille de 5 personnes avec 3 enfants en bas age et avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison. ##### fabienne s. ---
