"Very charming home in a great location within the village. We visited during the coldest time of year so we didn’t get to enjoy the courtyard, however it definitely would have added to the charm of the property. The beds are on the hard side, very French, but the home was well equipped, which made cooking very easy. Would definitely return. "

"Easy to find. Comfortable with particularly comfy beds. Good kutcgen, well equipped. Warm in Winter with large log burner in lounge and free wood on site. The only slight negative (dudnt affect the two of us) is there is only one toilet and bathroom so if there are 6 people staying this might be an issue. Good price for our winter stay. "

"In October, Issigeac is pretty quiet except for Sunday market and some music Wednesday night at Andy’s Bar. I hear quite a bit busier in summer! I spent my days exploring the area on a bike and working at a friend’s farm near-by. Really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend!"

"What a breathtaking property. From the moment you walk through the big green gate, it’s an incredible place. We were a mixed group 20, friends and family, ranging from 0-50 years old. The property itself is filled with history but with lovely little modern twists, mainly the kitchen and bathrooms. It’s not obvious from the photos but there is also a large barn with a table tennis table in which was a nice hub for socialising. The pool is large and fenced off to stop any children accidentally falling in. The hosts stayed on the site however in a separate building. It was lovely having them there if we needed anything and they gave us lots of little tips but did not invade on our privacy. They made every effort to make us feel at home. The local Sunday market they recommended was a true gem.Also were 2 beautiful dogs on the property, very friendly and big hits with our group. Although the property is very close to the airport, would highly recommend renting cars as taxis were slow and expensive. "

"Gite Legotine, has been beautifully renovated and is completely in the countryside. They have every appliance you can think of so you will feel right at home. The only thing that could do with an upgrade is the TV. Eric and Juilette are very easy to talk with too. "

"Lovely property and lovely location. Solange was very efficient and helpful at check in and departure. The pool was fab and kept a good temperature using the cover at night. We did alot of cooking and there was plenty of equipment, crockery and glassware. The cooker and hob were easy to use and there is an outside hot plate but it was a little too cool at night for us to use. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, with good sized rooms. The toilets and shower rooms worked well for our party. The local town of Issignac is very pretty and lots of restaurants. We explored around the house using the bikes and on foot. There is so much to do and we also went kayaking on the Dordogne and wine tasting at the local vineyard as well as visiting local bastide towns. Great stay and hope to return."

"The property was absolutely perfect for a family. The swimming pool was a great size and depth and it was amazing to be able to use all day every day. There is lots of pool furniture around the pool to make time spent around it very comfortable. The villa is large and very picturesque with tonnes of outdoor space.The bedrooms are large and have air con plus great bathrooms.The decor of the property is modern and looks fantastic. Parking is suitable for one vehicle and we did not have any security concerns at all.The kitchen is a great size and you have everything you need in the draws for you to cook and drink. We cooked every day and the kitchen was perfect with a large fridge and separate freezer.There is a large tv in the living room with netflix and speakers which was good to have.The area itself is lovely, issigeac is only 5 minutes drive away and there are lots of bars and restaurants even tho it is a small village. It also has a park, tennis courts and a small astro turf pitch for football which was very handy.Bergerac is just over 20 minutes drive and that is also a lovely town with more bars and restaurants.There aren’t many properties near the villa so it is a lovely private spot to holiday in.The property and the location are brilliant and we would definitely stay there again, in fact we intend to!"
