"We had a wonderful time at the Plough Inn. The young lady who worked there could not do enough for us and she worked so hard from serving teas and coffees in the afternoon to helping with the evenings meals. All the staff were very friendly and courteous and the room was lovely overlooking the garden. Our meal was very nice and breakfast had good choices."

"Our room was clean and had good facilities. It was in a separate block to the main bar and restaurant, which was welcomed. Breakfast not available until 9am, which is quite late. A great stopping off point whilst walking the Thames Path."

"We were upgraded by the delightfully kind manager to a room with a bath. As we were walking the Thames Path this was hugely appreciated - a wonderful clawfoot bath and a good shower. The room was large, light and beautiful. There was a little noise as we were above the bar, but only at a low hubbub and it didn't impact our sleep at all (I'm a very light sleeper). Dinner was delicious, as was breakfast. The New Inn exceeded our expectations."

"Exactly what we were looking for for our stay in the Cotswolds. This house is situated so beautifully and perfectly we absolutely loved our one-week stay and I was very sad to leave. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and fresh, The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and functioned well, and the owners are the kind of people you want to be best friends with. They gave us a list of nearby places to visit and each location was well worth it. There are animals (horses, sheep, ducks) on the property that only add to its charm. The pond out front is picturesque and I spent hours watching all the wildlife--mostly birds--while painting. The location of Nell House is on the edge of the Cotswolds and provides a lot of flexibility. From here, we could easily access the heart of the Cotswolds, the Downs and Salisbury, the West over to Bath, or north-east toward Stratford upon Avon. It's only a short train ride into London if needed. We would go out of our way to stay here again. "

"Great room and comfy bed. Very well positioned property to visit all that The Cotswolds has to offer. Excellent breakfast with lots of options cooked to order. We enjoyed two excellent dinners as well and recommend booking during busy periods. Lovely beer garden area and excellent staff. A perfect stay and highly recommend. Thanks!"

"Cosy, well equipped cottage in a quiet location. Nice enclosed garden for our dog and a short walk into the village or to the river. Good communication with Julia and a nice little welcome pack."

"Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful Shepard's hut with a spacious hot tub. Based in a lovely little village with a cosy pub round the corner, serving nice food. The hut was clean and has everything needed for a weekend's stay. Only slight issue was how short the bed was as we are both tall, but can't be helped too much with the size of the hut."
