"To call this a 3-star hotel is an absolute understatement. This boutique hotel is full of charm and character, offering an experience that far exceeds its rating. We stayed in the Deluxe Ocean Front room, which was stunning. The room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and spotless, and the private balcony was the icing on the cake. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They accommodated our early travel schedule by packing us a breakfast to-go on the first day and served breakfast on our balcony the next. Whether it's the front desk or the 24/7 security guard, you're always greeted with a warm smile. The shared oceanfront terrace offers a spectacular view of the sunset — a perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended."

"Hotel: Levels Unawatuna Room no: Superior Double Staff: 10/10 Location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Soundproofing: 2/10 (music from pool area) Blockout curtains: Yes, but light from the hallway shines through the sides of the blinds. Comments: Spectacular view. Electronic dance music/subwoofer from pool area is loud and can be heard in the room, even though there was no people at the pool. Made it feel like more of a nightclub vibe than a hotel. The music didn’t stop until 9.15pm when I called reception to ask what time the music stops. It commenced again the following morning at 8.20am. The water pressure in the shower is poor. Very hard to wash the shampoo and conditioner out of your hair. Breakfast is included. If you’re vegan or have coeliac disease you can only eat the fruit. If you’re vegetarian you can only eat the fruit and eggs. If we had booked more than one night I would have been incredibly disappointed. The dinner menu is alright though."

"The staff are super nice and we book the villa is big . overall is excellent and they really try to provide excellent service . I gave high mark because they provide service from their heart and sense. They restaurant should have airconditon but not so I did gave full mark . Anyway I recommend this hotel to my friends . "

"We had a lovely stay here but not without issues. The place itself is lovely, the staff were great and very welcoming. We opted to go for the premium room with the outdoor shower however on arrival we had a loud and leaky AC unit. We spoke to the team and they were unable to get spare parts to fix it because of independence day which was incredibly annoying as all night it rattled and droned. It was incredibly hot and the owner suggested we had it on high heat and low breeze to try and make the noise better but unfortunately this wasn't possible. The following morning we were offered a smaller room as a swap however this wasn't what we wanted to book so left us in a very difficult position. In light of the issues I looked back at previous reviews for this room and I was incredibly annoyed to see that this issue was noted in November and clearly nothing had been done to fix or rectify the issue since then as the uploaded images were literally identical to what we experienced, even the same error code on the digital display! The breakfast was nice but not the best we had during our two week stay in Sri Lanka and on speaking with locals they also said it was quite possibly the cheapest breakfast that could be made which was also a shame to hear. We had a great time at The Jungle Loft, the location was quite which was nice however I would say it is incredibly incredibly expensive for what it is and on this basis I wouldn't be able to fully recommend it."

"The pictures are not a true reflection of this property. It has the potential to be a very lovely hotel but it is run down and falling apart. The rooms were dirty especially the bathroom. There wasn't a mosquito net for the bed. Service for breakfast was very slow. The pool looks like it needs a good clean. I couldn't even get into it. "
