Staff at the main desk were very helpful, booked a lot of tours for me, helped me with navigating around the area. Cleaners also did a great job everyday. Hotel is placed in the perfect location with great views of Hagia Sohia and the blue mosque, also have great views of the sea from the restaurant on the 6th floor. Overall my stay the the hotel for 5 nights was absolutely amazing.

It's the people! From the time that I stepped in the hotel, I felt welcome! The front desk are so warm, courteous, respectful, friendly, and helpful! They tended to my needs as a guest from coordinating my event (dinner cruise), waking me up to go to the airport, arranging my taxi to the airport prior to my flight, and went above and beyond-they even packed a care package of breakfast for me since I left at 3:00 am to go to the airport!!! I will highly recommend this place and most of the guests I met in the hotel are all returning customers! I will surely come back to this hotel!!! I have been to 53 countries and stayed in many hotels but nothing compared to the care and sensitivity the staff of Sultanhan given to me! I enjoyed my stay in Istanbul because of their hotel staffs! Thank you so much and I appreciate the care!!! (P.S. Did I forget to mention that they really have the real honey beehive as a honey for breakfast?)

The staff was prompt generous and helpful

We had an immensely enjoyable stay at the Dara Old City hotel. We received such a warm welcome and the staff were friendly, accommodating and incredibly helpful. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the Hippodrome. The rooftop restaurant has lovely views and is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset after a busy day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return one day.

Exceptional service, such kind staff and cleaners. You’re very well taken care of. Very clean, excellent and safe location a few min walk from the Mosques and bazaar as well as a main strip with restaurants, shops, salons, Shisha lounges etc. definitely try the Ortaklar restaurant across the road it’s amazing especially the hummus! Breakfast could have more variety, rooms are a little small but cosy, gym is basic, and can get noisy as it’s so central. Overall loved the stay though and the benefits far outweigh the criticism.

Had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Definitely one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at thus far while traveling abroad. From the moment you walk in the receptionists take care of you in such a great manner. Not only are they nice they also go out of their way to help you with what ever your needs may be. Situated perfectly on a street with lots to do. Arda (front desk) was excellent and treated us so well! The staff definitely made our stay in Istanbul much better and at ease. Thank you!
