We were generally happy with the service. Even though not all the staff knew english, they were always very helpful and our requests were handled very quickly. The room was okay, however there could be brighter lighting, especially in the bathroom. We also had issues with the automatic flushing of the toilet. Not sure if it was user error or something was wrong. Even so, we felt comfortable in our room nontheless.

Clean room, excellent water pressure, friendly and helpful staff who answered my questions via app, location is near Myeongdong. However we returned to one particular Korean BBQ restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel. Laundry in the basement gave clear instructions on how to operate macines and how to pay.

Fairmont Hotel experience has always been fantastic including this one. It was a little surprising to see that the shower head was old and rusty, and was not spraying properly. It’s not a big deal but a minor detail.

Great location with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops right around the corner, yet pleasantly quiet. Myeongdong shopping district is just a 10-minute walk away. The staff were super nice as well. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul!
