"I booked for 4 nights but stayed 12. That must be saying something. All the staff gave excellent service and extremely friendly. Always a Bonour when they see me. As it was my birthday when I arrived I sent email before asking if they could arrange a lobster. Diane replied and arrange it. I had all my evening meals in there downstairs restaurant ( they have 2) by the beach and the food was excellent. Drinks and food were very reasonably priced. I ate and drank well. Even made Dry Martini for me. Rooms are a good size. I had a ocean view with lovely sunsets Ideally located for boat trips to other islands. I also had many excellent massages. Treat yourself at the hotel. If you go to this hotel you will not be disappointed. You may wish to stay longer"

"I loved my visit to Villa les Orchidées. The hotel was amazing and the staff were more than helpful. My three complaints are very, very minor and would not effect a decision to stay there again, however people should know what they are getting: 1) There is no hot-tub, only a pool. 2) There is no real coffee, only instant garbage. 3) The hotel soundtrack is nauseating. I have a feeling the owner, whom you will more than likely meet, likes it, but its just awful."

"I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great and the food is good."
