Riverside room with private pool and kitchen
Traditional house completely recovered in 2005.
It contains 3 suites, a living and dining room and an outdoor lawn area for meals and rest.
It is located on a 10-hectare vineyard, which produces its own wine and oil. Guests can do wine tasting (by appointment) and follow the work in the vineyard.
Totally independent, it is the ideal place to relax and contemplate nature.

Access to the house is via a dirt road, typical of Douro estates. Something winding but perfectly safe.

For stays of 7 nights or more offer a wine tasting!
Air-conditioned accommodation at this farm stay offers private pools and fireplaces. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer fridges, hobs, microwaves and kitchenware and utensils.

Bathrooms include a shower and hairdryers. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and an iron/ironing board. Housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.

Fantastic views, peaceful surroundings
We really enjoyed our stay. The views and surroundings exceeded our expectations. The house is very remote and the road leading to it was very steep and bumpy but we were expecting that and did not mind. We did have some communication issues with the hosts prior to check-in. We did not receive any check-in instructions or communication in the days leading up to our stay despite several attempts to reach out. We ultimately had to google to find a phone number after we arrived at the property to gain access to it. Once we reached them, they said they were having email issues. They were very responsive by text after that, providing information about the closest grocery store and a few restaurant recommendations. They also gave us a bottle of wine for our troubles and it was fantastic. Overall, a great place once we got through the check-in issues.

Most Beautiful Vacation Home
We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta do Poeira. It is truly more wonderful in person than pictures or descriptions can share. This is one of the best vineyards in the region with stunning views! We spent 3 wonderful nights here. The kitchen is well equipped to cook at home, the pool is amazing for the daytime, and 3 comfortable rooms for 3 couples. The winding dirt road driveway is not for the faint of heart though - it is quite scary to take especially at night! We ended up not leaving the house much and we were glad we had stopped at the Jumbo before arriving and arranged a private chef. Do not hesitate to book this property - it was the highlight of our entire trip to Portugal!

Away from it all
We had a lovely week at this quinta home. Fantastic house with scenic views around. Its location in the middle of a vineyard in a lovely part of the Douro means that it was peaceful (occasional noise from friendly vineyard workers) and restful. House and Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed finding out about the winemaking and then a delicious wine tasting with Barbara. A winding 15 mins drive to Pinhao for some good eating options and Douro boat trips and a 30 mins drive to the city of Vila Real.

Spectacular home in the vineyard!
Very charming home with all the amenities located right in a vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very modern home. Would most certainly stay here again. Extremely responsive and friendly host.

A natureza em todo o seu esplendor!
Habitação muito confortável, bem desenhada, muito bem equipada e numa localização privilegiada na propriedade, com vista para o maravilhoso vale vinícola do Pinhão. As árvores de fruto, a horta e obviamente toda a vinha tornam qualquer estadia nesta casa uma experiência maravilhosa. Muito obrigado por nos deixarem partilhar um pouco deste vosso paraíso.
