"Older hotel but clean and comfortable. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay goes well. Friendly and helpful. Waterfront views are amazing. Lounge (bar area) is tended well and has a television. Six draft beers as well as bottled and cocktails. Bartender is exceptional. Highly recommended."

"This was our third time staying in the UP and this was by far our favorite house. The house was beautiful with amazing views of the lake. We cooked most meals and the kitchen was very well equipped. The lake was gorgeous, and provided fish every time we went out. It was so quiet and peaceful, at times we had the entire lake to ourselves. At night the sky was so gorgeous and we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on several occasions. On nights it rained there was an abundance of games to play. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna room as well. The communication with the owners was also amazing. I highly recommend this place and we can't wait to come back."

"We stayed during the winter for snowmobiling. Google Maps lists this place in the wrong location which led us down a private road with an unhappy land owner. The fire number is correct but at the house there is a different house number which was confusing. The ceiling in the living room dripped condensation for the first 2 days. All this being said, I WOULD stay here again. The group of 6 guys snowmobiling were comfortable."
