"Loved the cabin theme, the staff were amazing, and the property was well kept. The room was more than adequate, in fact it was very comfortable! We Loved our stay and hope to stay again next year! We did not get to take advantage of the water park, and hope to next year. Honestly, this hotel is well worth the stay! I can't say enough good about them!"

"We all arrived for our six day stay at different times so having a code entry worked great for our family. We had some concerns about smoke from the Canadian fires but Rebecca was good about corresponding with us. The lower level walkout was really nice for the kids. They had a place to put towels, shoes and toys in one spot by the door. We all enjoyed the firepit area, sauna, games, playhouse, dock with swim pad, putting green and the spacious yard for baseball and kickball. The bedding was comfortable and there was plenty of bath, kitchen and beach towels for our gang. The kitchen and laundry rooms were well stocked. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. We had lots of space to spread out with the twelve of us. We really had a wonderful time. The property is about three miles off the main road so we pretty much stayed put except for one rainy day that we went golfing and toured around Marquette. We would definitely recommend this property for your getaway vacation!"

"Let me say... I loved Ruth Lake Resort, I can't wait to go back. We stayed in cabin #1. It was clean, comfortable and provided all the basics. I love the lake access, the spot to hang out and watch the sun set. We didn't get a chance to use the grills, but will next time. The garage is another spot you can hang out in, we did. We appreciated the extra area's in the garage, the ice machine, just all of it. We had everything we need and could of just hung out at the resort all day. I want to bring my family and friends for along weekend next time."
Four Seasons Lake House Between Marquette and Houghton: Paradise on Petticoat!

"This space was great for our family. It was a wonderful location for us to travel from each day for adventures in the surrounding areas. It always felt peaceful and grounding to return here. We utilized the gazebo for game time, the fire pit for smores, the dock for morning yoga, the grill for hamburgers, the griddle for morning blueberry pancakes, and the deck for morning coffee, too. All the things! It was great!"

"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this charming house. It was quiet, peaceful, and clean. We arrived during a heat wave, but with the provided fans, the house stayed pleasantly cool, and there was always a nice breeze off the lake. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks. One kid caught a bass that was big enough to keep right off the dock. We recommend the Huron Mountain bakery in Ishpeming and the mine tour in Houghton."
