Was an amazing little spot. A short drive to Russel town but removed enough for a peaceful country stay. Great facilities for a holiday park.

Staffs doing a great job, with the few staff they have. Welcoming environment, got upgraded at the last minute, no extra charge. Puppy loved her stay, big area great for walking.

Most of Toilets and Sowers door locks were broken. Toilet paper run out. Kitchen towels were dirty. Otherwise OK condition.

This property is in a great area however, unfortunately needs a huge renovation. Rooms had no hot water, TV did not work and amenities like washer and dryer and pool were all broken down. The room had cockroaches on the wall and bed was broken. Management tried their best to accommodate guests given the circumstances and were friendly though the property needs major investment to continue.

Lots to keep the kids entertained between trips to town and the beach. Fairly priced and clean and tidy facilities. We stayed in a lodge cabin which was very close to the kitchen, bathrooms, picnic area, pool and playground. I loved the location of our cabin. My family of 6 will definitely visit this holiday park again.

The staff were really friendly, the place was really clean (including the kitchen, bathroom and our room), the pool was a fantastic addition (especially on a hot day), it was great to be surrounded by bush and it didn't feel crammed.

Cosy Eco-cabin
Nice cosy, clean cabin, perfect for a one night stop over. Friendly, welcoming staff. Enjoyed the birdsong while sitting on the deck. Short drive to Russell/shops/restaurants.

The stay was fantastic
The stay was fantastic. The new owners were very friendly and eager to please! They were very helpful and the room was spotless. The grounds were nice and right next to Bush with wild kiwi. We even saw one running through the camp grounds. There is a playground for older kids as well. Hightly recommended.

Met expectations, good value.
Great location with access to some good walks and 5 minute drive from the town. Not a 5* hotel but good value for what we paid Andy met our expectations!

Nice quiet location
Room was pleasant. Kitchen facilities were good, but please note that you would need to take kitchen things to cook in. Rest of the facilities were great and adequate for a campground. Nice owners and very helpful too.

The room didn't have a room of anything except thick bush. The balcony cover didn't cover half the deck so everything outside got wet. room is very small and t.v is small than an I-pad with less sound than an I-pad. Staff we not friend and seemed to be very strict about what not to do and do. It was more expensive than hotels I have stayed at and isn't even in town with a view.
