It was the best of both worlds, right in town so we could just walk to the shops and also next to a creek with plenty of pine trees and visits from the deer. Everyone had a great time! The home was a perfect fit for 3 families (12 ppl), plenty of room to hang out and play card games in the evenings. The younger kids enjoyed the front living space, while the adults gathered in the main living area. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and anything you'd need to prepare meals. Stocked with plenty of blankets and towels. The primary bedroom tends to be the coldest room in the house and the heat doesn't seem to make it's way in there, so we left the door open at night to try and get some of the heat in there from the other living spaces. However, the bunk beds did not have comforters, the place was very dusty (cobwebs everywhere) the floor going into the bunk room has a soft spot where it was easy to trip and the kitchen is even smaller than it appears in the pictures. Overall, the place was ok. If you want to eat out and shop then it’s perfect. However, if you are hosting a large group and want to stay in I would not recommend this place.
