We enjoyed the property for a weekend get away! The weather was perfect the first day and at night it got cooler, which made the hot tub perfect. Highly recommend this cabin to everyone.
What a peaceful stay! Great cabin with wonderful amenities. Generally pictures on sites are like glamour shots, the pictures on this rental don’t do it justice! We will certainly stay there again!!!
We loved the place. It has plenty of room and is very comfortable. The deck is a big plus! The place is also very convenient to town but far enough away for the peace and quiet you’re looking for. We had wild horses in the yard all day one day and it was really enjoyable.
Everything works great, super quiet and somewhat isolated away from other cabins. Hot tub was perfect. For sure prepare if it freezes because the driveway is steep enough for you to not be able to leave. Great place, will be back!
The house was perfect! It met all of our needs. Very homey and comfortable. It snowed all night the first day we got there. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace every night. We had some difficulty with the roads due to the weather. A neighbor named Cliff was so gracious and helped us out twice. We were so thankful for him. I would definitely book again.
The log cabin was awesome. It's in a quiet neighborhood. We saw lots of wildlife. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. We had one small issue with the hot tub not heating up. I contacted the property management and it was fixed the same day. We will definitely book this place again.
We went fishing in lake Grindstone (Note there is a water park on this lake now during the summer - the fishing isn't as good) and also went "tourist shopping downtown". The best parts of our stay were at the cabin: watching wildlife including squirrels, mule deer, elk and even the "wild" horses that roam the area. We grilled dinners (trout from the lake, and steak) and relaxed in the hot tub. It was a great vacation.
The property was wonderful. It was relaxing and quiet. Just want e we needed. The kids played in the hot most of the time. We saw deer and elk. What a wonderful experience. We will book again!
We decided to celebrate Christmas just us 4 and our dog. It was great! Although internet was out for the week (blessing in disguise) the house was cozy and great! The management team was great too when the furnace and water heater went out! They were quick to send someone out and get it fixed for us! Great neighborhood too, enjoyed walking our dog. Highly recommended
Enjoyed the beautiful mountain air with the swaying trees and roaming deer! The hot tub was amazing and so relaxing. The cabin was lovely. Just things to note for others who stay: there was no hairdryer, the ice maker was disconnected so no ice was available, and no salt/pepper.
Lincoln log cabin, exceeded our expectations with the beautiful porch, fantastic hot tub and wonderful family room with a centered fireplace. The cabin was an excellent condition. All kitchen amenities worked excellent, and the living and bedrooms were perfect for our family. Thank you Hummingbird Cabins on the for sending us maintenance on the air vent in kitchen. It was remedied quickly within the hour, perfect cabin perfect stay, thank you.
My husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed for 6 nights and loved the cabin. Cooking out on the grill in the early evenings and enjoying all the wildlife. However be careful of the 2 bears we saw at the trash bin across the street!! Our only complaint and it would be a huge problem for a party of 4 or more is the lack of silverware, there were only 3 forks to use. I read a comment about the master bed being extremely high up and believe me it IS hard to get into for us people 5’4 and under. But its in a beautiful area and we would return!
The location is beautiful and quiet. The cabin is large and has a great porch. Our only negative was the fireplace was left dirty from previous renters and the cabin was quite Smokey so we ended up leaving a day early as we couldn’t get it aired out enough. The king bed sits extremely high so be prepared to hike up on it. The up side is they allow pets which was wonderful.

Bed bugs and rat poop
Well I wanted to love this property but unfortunately it had some major flaws. During our stay we found some rat poop in several pots and pans. Also on our last day I was covered in bed bugs bites. I can send pictures. My waist is covered in bites. Posume or racoon poop. The place had extremely outdated cookware and utensils. The outdoor patio was nice.
