Staying at the lazy moose Lodge was an excellent experience, we stayed in the house for a full week for a hunting trip in Ruidoso and it amplified our entire experience. The home was clean upon our arrival and everything was in place in an order, the kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary cooking items. The beds were a little firm but comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The checkout process was simple and minimal tasks were needed before departure which was a huge plus, being able to see elk and deer outside our door along with a wild horse was just the icing on the cake, we will definitely be staying here again.
A nice cabin in the area, we enjoyed our holiday and snow in April was a plus! Place was clean and stocked, easy to get to and close to town with a short drive. Pet friendly was a plus, didn’t realize the fenced area for dogs is not accessible from the house you have to go out the door and to the side to let your dogs potty. Overall a good place to rent for a weekend. Thanks!
This house is located just outside midtown. It’s located in a nice mountain, not too high up. Just right. The neighborhood is nice and safe. The fireplace was great and the house is very spacious.
The house was very clean and comfortable. All furniture was nice. Communication was great. We needed to check in a little earlier and making arrangements to do so was very easy. The neighborhood was peaceful. Over all would give 5 stars and stay again in the future.
This rental was very clean and welcoming.
We had a little bit of trouble with the AC. Luckily the fans and cool air helped. The contact was helpful and quick to answer questions. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this property to others.
This property is exactly as described. It was a very comfortable stay for all of us - we particularly appreciate the two bedrooms with king sized beds and a downstairs space with two additional beds. And a bathroom for every bedroom is so convenient. The kitchen has a large variety of cookware and appliances that made meals a breeze, and we were left a lovely welcome gift that included a little something for everyone. We grilled on the deck, and we were treated to some deer wandering across the property one morning. All in all, this weekend was a success, and we look forward to returning.
Cabin was large enough for 8 adults, although the two full size beds are more for teen or child. These beds were very short, but overall very clean and the kitchen was stocked with every appliance you could possible need. The coffee pot on the other hand, I would suggest cleaning staff really clean out the reservoir. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent it again!
The cabin was nice and spacious for all my family. It was a two story, with a bedroom downstairs, with two queen beds and a private bathroom. Very sufficient space for my two teen grandkids. The stairs going down to that bedroom were a little steep. Nonetheless it gave us all a good workout going up and down those stairs, including our little doggies. Upstairs had two large bedrooms, both with bathrooms, again very sufficient space and very clean! The kitchen, dining and living room were open concept very spacious for all my family. There was a beautiful fireplace where we sat by in the living room, had a glass of wine and played family games. There was an outside deck on the upper floor, that was just wonderful. One evening my family and I were outside on the upper deck admiring the beautiful view and enjoying the fresh air, when at that time we all got to see a big bear passing. It was so exciting! Overall our stay was quite pleasant! There was only one thing I wanted to address. There are steep outside stairs, leading from the driveway area up to the living room door. The bottom step of those steep stairs was broken and a little scary to step on, especially after it had rained and the steps were wet. Hopefully next time we stay, that step will have been repaired?? I would absolutely recommend this place for a nice getaway!
