We stayed for two weeks in the house. Plenty of room and a very nice shower. And a very big garden We recommend this house to everyone who visits Bretagne

Adorable place

It was a little far from Mont St Michel or anything to do/see but we found it to be our favorite place to stay! Beautiful home and in great shape. If you're going somewhere to relax, this would be perfect.

Lovely relaxing area.

Perfect location for visiting Saint Mont Michel. Very friendly host. The outdoor space was beautiful. The 3 bedroom home accommodated is well but scheduling the one shower was very important. No internet…but cell service was good and we were on vacation so didn’t mind. Closest market and restaurants were 15 minutes. We would recommend.

Lovely House Close to Mont St Michel

This lovely home was perfect for relaxing after a busy day at Mont St Michel. While we were only there for an overnight visit I can see how perfect it would be for a longer stay. We were a little surprised about the 40 euro linen charge and feel it should be included in the description. Our communications with both Madame and Monsieur Frain were pleasant and cordial. I’d recommend this rental to friends !

Charming country house near Mont Saint Michel

A nice place to stay, 20 minutes drive from Mont Saint Michel. 5 minutes drive from Les Quatre Salines hôtel and restaurant where you can have good meals and breakfast. The owners live 30 minutes away. They contacted us through messages for estimate arrival time so they could meet and give us the key to the house since there is no lockbox. Madame Frain was very pleasant and friendly. She recommended local restaurants and the Marie de Roz sur Couesnon (10 minutes drive) to visit to have a panoramic view of the bay. The 3 bedroom house has more than enough spaces for the three of us. You may want to bring your shampoo, soap and coffee for personal use.

Location perfect for visits to Saint Malo and Mont St. Michel. Beautiful home in French farm country. Owners are lovely people! Very accommodating and kind. Highly recommend for a peaceful and idyllic country setting.

There were additional charges for linens and towels (10 euro per person) that weren't in the listing, there was no heat and it was very cold, it smelled very fishy, the beds were very uncomforable and the pillows were dingy. No internet. It was also difficult to get to (the taxi service couldn't even find it as the address from the listing brought you to a differnet house and they had to call the host to find it) The shower was the only good thing about our stay. I dont think the price was even close to being worth it.

Lovely home, beautiful location!

We loved our stay at this property. The kids enjoyed that there were kitten on the beautiful gardens. We loved having space to spread out and everything worked perfectly. Our GPS location didn't take us to the right location so just be sure you double check with the host that you have the right address. Also, I didn't notice but there's a $40 extra fee if you'd like to have clean sheets/towels. Linens are an extra cost. The hosts were so kind and very helpful! Wish we had more time.

Beautiful Cottage House

Beautiful cottage house situated near Mt. Saint Michel. You are about 20 minutes away from the parking lot of the Mont Saint Michel visitor center. The host only speaks French. The reason for the four-star review was because the property details didn't mention anything about an extra charge for linens/bed sheets. The host messaged me asking if we would like the linens for an additional 50 Euro. I told her that wasn't disclosed in the VRBO description and I would not be paying that. She then offered it for 40 Euros. I told her I'd bring my own sheets, and she told me not to worry about it. She would provide sheets. The sames sheets that are in the photos. She was a sweet lady, and maybe the language barrier caused some confusion. Beware... You will be asked to pay more for sheets.

Le point fort: l'espace : grand salon/salle a manger, cuisine à part fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu'il faut, une belle douche, wc à part et 3 grandes chambres avec lits doubles.Les points négatifs :- Pas d'ouverture sur le jardin, genre baie vitrée. La maison est à l'étage et il faut descendre les escaliers extérieurs de devant pour acceder au jardin. Pour manger dehors ça nest pas pratique.- Il y a des chats. Ils etaient mignons mais certains peuvent avoir peur des chats, etre allergique etc- Il y a des choses recentes (les volets electriques, la douche à l'italienne etc) mais aussi vieillotes (les meubles, tapisseries, la cuisine).- Pas de wifi et un reseau internet lent.Les deux gros points négatifs pour nous:- La localisation de l'hébergement. Lieu dit perdu au milieu des champs loin de tout. Pour visiter le Mont St Michel cest parfait il est à 20 mins. Par contre, tout le reste est tres loin a 45 mins/1h comme St Malo, Cancale ou Fougères. Et surtout les plages ! La plus proche (Cherrueix) est a 15 mins mais même à marée haute l'eau est très loin. Les 1eres vraies plages sont à 45 mins/1h également ! - Et enfin il n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce que la partie du bas du logement, le sous sol (garage et piece aménagée) est privatisé. Les propriétaires seuls ont une clef d'une porte menant d'en bas a l'étage du haut (pas rassurant) et sont au sous sol tous les midis et sont bruyants.Propriétaires ok à part cela.

Das Haus war super. Wir hatten viel Platz und die Kinder konnten im Garten spielen. Für Spaziergänge in der Umgebung gab es viele Wege, zum Meer oder zu einem Restaurant oder einer Bäckerei musste man das Auto nehmen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr sehr freundlich.Das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert!
