All the hotel staff were pleasant, friendly and interactive with you. The room was lovely, huge bathroom with a bath and a shower. The breakfast was more than adequate and included, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, sliced fried potatoes, sauces. Fresh fruit juices, yogurt with numerous toppings. Bread selection, smoked salmon, ham, turkey, cheeses, spread cheese, fresh cottage cheese, salad selections, olives etc, fresh fruit, and an amazing coffee machine, oh and pastries. Plus the biggest selection of jams, marmalade, honey, nut spreads etc. Had a very enjoyable stay. We were central in the city and a fair walk to the Grand Place but I would recommend this hotel. Very close to bus links, tram links and the Metro." The renovations were great and the rooms and everything were clean. We got in very late and the staff ensured we had a flawless check in experience. Even taking us on a quick tour after we expressed interest in the amenities. The staff was tremendous our entire stay and made us feel welcome and valued. With the exception of one incident when I was trying to utilize the honesty bar and get drinks for my sick girlfriend, I was treated as though I wasn’t a paying guest by one woman staff in particular. Besides that, we loved the location and the breakfast. The dining space was a bit tight for the amount of people during our stay but still a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay again (hopefully during the warmer season).
