"First is the location, excellent and it is a cute older building that has had some love put into it. The check in was easy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious had a kettle, fridge, micro and even coffee cream in the fridge (nice touch). I highly recommend this property as you can tell by my write up."

"In am not even sure exactly how we found this place but I certainly am happy we did! What charm and beauty. I have never had an experience to stay in such a beautiful hotel. Every room had a charm of its own. Lots of antiques and beautiful furniture. Absolutely spotless. Bed was so comfortable and room was very quiet which is such a plus in my book. Nice hot shower, lots of towels. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Kate was amazing host. We will come back again and stay longer!"

"We had a wonderful time at the Sand Bucket. We have stayed in many properties on the Oar Coast over the years, and chose this one for the price because it allowed us to book an extra day. It was lovely and we didn't feel we gave up any value or quality. Had a wonderful trip."
