The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. The shower is extremely small and water tank also small, so not good for a large person and you will run out of hot water quickly. They offer a voucher for breakfast at the Hotel Adriatic which is fabulous—-but be sure to ask the cost, as it was pricey and we only found out AFTERWARDS the cost. It is above a cafe/restaurant, so it may be loud in the high season. We enjoyed being in the center of activity yet the apartment was quiet. The staff was very helpful and very welcoming. Picking us up at our car with their electric vehicle was a game changer in the hot weather. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it. We called the hotel when we were unsure with parking and Claudia came in her cart to show us where to park and then drive us to the hotel! She was such a pleasure and so friendly! She gave us a warm welcome and recommended several restaurants, as well as ice cream places! She allowed us to keep our bags in the hotel after checkout because we were going to explore Rovinj before leaving the city. The room itself was stunning. The vibe of the hotel was beautiful and having the ocean right outside the window was perfect. We could not recommend this place enough! It is, however, very small, with no real place to sit, except one antique desk chair. The employee who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. One note about the location -- it is GREAT in terms of being very close to the waterfront and right in the heart of town, with many restaurants and shops only steps away. One aspect of being in the center of things, though, is that it is not quiet. If you are an "early to bed" person, there was live music being played, seemingly right outside our window. It didn't go on terribly late, but was loud while it lasted. The other thing to be aware of is that parking in Rovinj is a real challenge. The hotel recommended a parking lot, and offered to pick us up there to take us to the hotel, but that lot was full and we ended up parking some distance away. We figured it out, and searching for parking seems to be part of the Rovinj experience, but we found it confusing to navigate. From the principal car park, it is a 7-10 minute walk with a rolling suitcase. Staff was very friendly and our room had a lovely view of harbor. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Kitchenette was nice. Rovinj in the late fall (late November) is pretty dead - heads up. Very few dining establishments were open.
