"Accueillis par une charmante dame et son mari d’une gentillesse remarquable dans une chambre simple mais authentique nous rappelant l’esprit d’autrefois. Nous n’avons dormi qu’une nuit mais ce fut une parenthèse enchantée. Le restaurant et son service sont excellents. "This hotel is truly a step-above in terms of luxury and services. We ate at the onsite restaurants, used the spa, had a massage and enjoyed the overall property. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. We were only there for two nights, but do hope to visit in the future. Wonderful, wonderful location next to unbeatable scenery and local towns. This property may be a bit expensive, but very perfect for the expectation. Food was very good, wine selection very good, service staff very good, spa/massage very good. Driving to the local town for a Saturday market was wonderful. You just need to share the road with Ferraris and bicycles!"

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Beds are comfortable, linen is lovely and the breakfast buffet was awesome (14 euros). The gentleman taking care of the breakfast area keeps it impeccable and is always there to help. It is an easy short walk into the little town where you can find restaurants and shops. They also have a lovely private pool area. The hotel also offers free parking at the lot across which has many spots availble. It was a lovely stay."

"What a wonderful experience. It truly is an old renovated Abby complete with a chapel. The views are stunning. In the distance we could see a large body of water which I think is the Etang de Barre. We loved hanging out the pool, extremely relaxing. And there was a least 1 huge indoor fireplace that looks like it is really used in the winter. The entire place was relaxing. We only stayed 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. Yes, it could use a little updating, but that is part of the charm. Very romantic for us. I would highly recommend for couples or for groups of friends that really just want to relax and enjoy all of the facilities. Would be an incredible destination wedding spot. You can sit around - inside or out - and talk for hours. They also make some great cocktails...and have an award winning restaurant. Great staff. They even gave us a bucket of ice to enjoy wine we had bought elsewhere. Also, great central location for day trips through out Provence."

"We would 100% recommend! The location to Gordes cannot be beat, the house is lovely and well kept, and the pool was wonderful! Valerie was very responsive and communicative our whole stay. If you’re going to Provence book this house!"

Comfortable restored Cabanon ocrier with shared pool - 6 people

"Wirklich ein wunderschönes und liebevoll restauriertes Häuschen mit allem, was es braucht: Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, zwei en-suite Bäder, zwei separate Toiletten, eine im EG, eine im ersten Stock. Zwei schöne Schlafzimmer, eines mit Doppelstockbett (sieht man auf den Bildern nicht) für das es aber die entsprechende Familienkonstellation braucht ;-) Daher am ehesten für maximal 4 Personen zu empfehlen. Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch in einem Eichenwäldchen am Hang. Die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber sind jederzeit ansprechbar, aber unaufdringlich. Es ist wunderbar ruhig dort, gleichzeitig ist man zu Fuß in 10 min im hübschen Dorf Roussillon, wo man alles bekommt, was man braucht. Tolles Restaurant "Omma" mit Blick auf die Ockerfelsen. Haus ist auch im Sommer trotz Hitze sehr erträglich, nachts hatten wir dennoch die bereitgestellten Ventilatoren im Einsatz. Sonne gibt's morgens auf der Terrasse vor dem Haus, nachmittags zusätzlich auf der zweiten Terrasse hinten. Ab etwa 16 Uhr allerdings ist das Cabanon im Schatten. Sonne gibt's dann "nur" noch am Pool, der super gepflegt und groß ist. Das allerdings muss man wissen: Das Cabanon liegt einige Schritte oberhalb des Pools. Direkt an den Pool grenzt das andere Ferienhaus auf dem Gelände, das "Loft". Sofern dieses belegt ist, ist man auch am Pool nicht mehr alleine und ungestört. Ansonsten wirklich traumhaft und sehr zu empfehlen! Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen, vielen Dank!"
