"This is a lovely little hotel about 5min walk from the train station and 1 min from the epic Roman Remains, pedestrianised shopping/eating area. "This was my first time staying alone in a hotel in Europe, so I needed some help understanding the lights, which the staff was very willing to explain. I returned at 4am from an event, and felt very safe as I figured out how to use my card to enter the hotel, which was wonderful....I asked for the room to be cleaned the next day on my way out, and forgot all about it until I returned, and my room was immaculate. I asked for a fan in my room, it appeared. Everything about my stay, from Lara at the reception desk to whomever cleaned my room, was wonderful, and I would highly recommend Ibis Hotel to anyone staying in Trier."
