Cosy Traditional Irish Cottage

"While the host was very responsive, the heat was out and was not repaired during our stay. Elisa brought 2 space heaters over but one only worked for a short time & then quit. There was hot water and the kitchen was stocked. The dishwasher was not working but the laundry and dryer did work. The renovations to the part of the house looked amateurish. I couldn’t tell whether it was mold or dirt or ill - finished paint on parts of the floor & ceiling. It was a short drive to Galway. Elisa did refund us one nights stay & did offer a full refund if we left after the first night. However, as it was a Saturday most every place in Galway was booked so we stayed the 2nd night. I would not stay there again."

"This is the place to stay! We were promptly greeted and shown our room. Our host was the sweetest lady. My husband had a great fresh and hot Irish breakfast. I had the continental breakfast. The rooms are quaint, quiet and just what you need after a wold day of site seeing. The location on the water is breathtaking. It is very close to a little town. We were given great recommendations on things to do and see. Our host was top notch. I cant recommend this House enough! As my first Bed and Breakfast experience, this set a super high standard!!! Overall: Super kind, Informative, Helpful, Clean, Delicious breakfast, Beautiful surrounding"

Connemara Coast Hotel

"At first were disappointed there were no hotels rooms available directly in Galway, but I'm so glad it worked out that way! The hotel is beautiful , staff were friendly, and the view on the beach was amazing. Parking was really easy and we found a restaurant close by called O'Grady's on the Pier which was a 5 min drive from the hotel and had 10/10 food and ambiance. Our room was 7.5/10, there was no AC and it smelled a bit musty. We kept our ground floor patio door open as much as possible which helped. The room was also a bit dusty, sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower didn't have a glass door that closed just a partition which wasn't ideal. The shower did have great pressure and was nice and hot. Overall, I'm really glad we chose this hotel and would come back."

Cashel House Hotel

"An old school hotel in the middle of Connemara. This was our second time staying the Cashel House Hotel and we have enjoyed both times. The cost is a bit pricey but worth it. The rooms are large with nice sitting areas. There's a small but well-appointed bar, and the restaurant serves outstanding food. "
