Loved this hotel. It is a little older, but deserves better than 2 stars. The bathrooms are renovated and super. The balconies/views are quite impressive. Room was basic, bed was extremely uncomfortable. Shower fixture was very temperamental. Free breakfast was very generous, offerings could have been better however. The room was basic, but comfortable and semi-spacious, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean in the distance (across the city of Roses). Staff were very friendly and helpful when I had difficulties with my rental car. I made a side trip to Port Lligat and Cadaques. Port Lligat was laid back with a beautiful harbour and islands protecting it but Cadaques was so crowded that I couldn't find a car park and ended up not stopping there. Luckily it was on the way to/from Port Lligat, so not much of a loss.
