Room was basic, bed was extremely uncomfortable. Shower fixture was very temperamental. Free breakfast was very generous, offerings could have been better however. Loved this hotel. It is a little older, but deserves better than 2 stars. The bathrooms are renovated and super. The balconies/views are quite impressive. The bar prices were reasonable and again, the view from the terrace for dining is spectacular. The pool is huge, crystal clear with a lot of loungers. The room was basic, but comfortable and semi-spacious, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean in the distance (across the city of Roses). Staff were very friendly and helpful when I had difficulties with my rental car. I made a side trip to Port Lligat and Cadaques. Port Lligat was laid back with a beautiful harbour and islands protecting it but Cadaques was so crowded that I couldn't find a car park and ended up not stopping there. Luckily it was on the way to/from Port Lligat, so not much of a loss.
