The cabin was comfortable, cozy, and had everything we needed. The views of and from the lake were beautiful and tranquil. We enjoyed getting out on the lake, some hiking and seeing some of the surrounding area that we know and love. We barbecued and sat around the fire pit and on the deck. We mostly relaxed and enjoyed each others company. And what a place to do it, with such beautiful surroundings. It exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t have asked for more from our hosts. We 3 family members were very well accommodated and enjoyed our stay at this lakeside cabin. We would definitely stay here again. This cabin is perfectly located and can serve as both a destination and/or a basecamp from which to explore the town of Roscoe along highway 17 and the Beaverkill / Willow trout fishing mecca.... this is the spot for world class fly fishing. Although our stay was mid November and we did get some snow, this cabin on the lake provided simple but extraordinary comfort. And it is apparent that the managers are making improvements to accommodate their guests. They were also kind enough to set up the fire pit for us before we arrived! The cabin is located about 10 minutes from town and is set on a picturesque, quiet lake - I would highly recommend taking advantage of the kayak/canoe access if weather permits.
