"My husband and I stayed here for several days while sightseeing in the neighborhood. Communication with the host for check in was great, and I really appreciated the good local information she provided as well. The house is very comfortable, in a great location, and has a wonderful backyard that we used for eating our meals and relaxing in the evenings. The private pool and hot tub were the star attractions, gorgeous and very clean and inviting. Sergio was easy to deal with and the process was very straightforward. Promise of a refund, after ringing them. 10-15 days to process - in this day and age? Not expecting it to come through. Also, information re the property is incorrect, garden area not maintained, lots of spaces not cleaned, bathroom smells of drains, and fairly dangerous set of stairs down to bathroom and toilet (narrow treads, and no railing)."

"The hotel is 11 kilometres from the centre of Lille but there is a metro station very near and in the area next to the hotel there's a great path that used to be a rail line going to Belgian birder that is a joy to walk without going anywhere. There is lots of parking for those who need it."

"We got a family room and we were surprised with everything that was provided in the room. You can choose to cook, there’s microwave/oven, dishwasher, even ironing board and iron. Lots of room to store our luggage. Very, very nice, clean and comfortable hotel room. The only thing that I would suggest to improve is to have a nightlight option to use the toilet in the middle of the night because the bathroom wall is a white glass and if you turn on the bathroom light it brightens the entire bedroom (not great when you have small children). Easy fix though. Besides that, breakfast was okay, we just didn’t like how crowded it was, very difficult to get the food and walk around (we were on the last corner table away from the buffet and we had to squeeze in between tables to bring our food to our table). On a next time I would try to get breakfast earlier and I believe it would be easier. We would totally go back to this hotel when staying again in Ghent. "
