It was a decent hotel for that price in a good location. 24 hour reception and the staff was good.

Good location and excellent value for money

Posted 26-Nov-2017
Located just a short walk from Roma Termini, Suite Dreams is a modern and comfortable hotel. Republica Metro station is just around the corner allowing cheap and easy access to the majority of Rome, although we mostly walked everywhere (around 20mins to either the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps or Colosseum, 30mins to the Pantheon and 40mins to Piazza Navona). We used the Metro to get to the Vatican City (only 15mins to Ottaviano via line A). The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. It was also very quiet - we didn't see any other guests at all! There is a lift, which was a welcome relief after a full day's exploration of the city. The beds were comfortable and the large bathroom contained a walk-in power shower. If we ever return to Rome, we will certainly stay here again.

Extremely Loud

Posted 29-Oct-2017
I give this 1 star because I wish I had this information before I booked. The hotel is extremely loud. It was as if we were staying on the street. Zero sleep during our stay in Rome. Doesn’t help that hot water would run out.

Close to the tourist district

Posted 22-Oct-2017
Cons: A kettle would have been good. We had BBC world news and a couple of German channels and a French one which was limited (lots of Italian channels)
Location: Close to the tourist district - an easy walk to all the attractions. The Vatican was the furthest.

Great location in Rome

Posted 11-Oct-2017
Pros: Loved the view off the balcony. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom door was not plumb and we had a difficult time opening it.
Location: Love the proximity to the train station and the ability to get a number of hop on, hop off buses. Loved the restaurant down the street, Rosemary.
We had a little difficulty finding the hotel at first. We asked directions and found the building numbers confusing. We were able to walk from the train station to the hotel. The sign on the building was small and the hotel is actually located on the second floor. The quaint elevator was delightful. The staff were amazing and so helpful with information and arraigning tours and taxis. The rooms were clean and the names of the rooms are imprinted on the pictures on the doors.

Great Small Hotel

Posted 07-Oct-2017
Pros: Large room, with lots of Roman style
Cons: NA
Location: Some good restaurants nearby- avoid the Boticelli- rip off artists. Otherwise, reasonably quiet neighbor with lots of locals.
Near the train station and all forms of transportation. We were pleasantly surprised by an enormous room with a balcony. And, surprise, a whirlpool bath tub that was huge. The only pushback was that it is a bit far from many tourist attractions. If you like 1930's movies, you'll love the Bogart era lift.

Second time in same trip

Posted 06-Oct-2017
This was our second time in here for our trip. We got a room a bit smaller than the last one but a large shower. Except of a blood stain on my sheets everything was clean and comfortable.
