The man who is in charge came in our room without our knowledge our first day out. We are two young women and we take certain safety measures when traveling. Our first day in room we left in the morning, with the lights on on purpose (to see if anyone is in the room or had been in the room). When we returned the lights were turned off and there was a random sim card on our bed that did not belong to either me or my friend. The next day my friend and I were sleeping and heard a knock on our door. The knock was not followed by anything so we didn't think much of it. To our surprise, about thirty minutes later, the man in charge fully came into our room without knocking or anything. My friend was in bed wearing underwear while I was in the bathroom taking a shower. The man came in the room and said "I'm sorry, I didnt know anyone was in here, there's a problem with the AC I had to check." There was no problem with the AC. We were shocked that we caught him in the act. He entered our room without our knowledge the day before and did God knows what (our passports, money, and personal things were scattered everywhere.) My friend was too shocked to speak when he came in the room. I finally finished my shower and went to speak to the man about how that is unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely not okay. He was nowhere to found for the next two days. He was actively avoiding us after he got caught. Also the place smells weird nd the room didn't have any shampoo or conditioner.

Dear Merna,My personal regret and apologies from all our staff for what happened , but in good faith always for the work and safety of our guests from 30 years.I'll just clarify what happened in a few lines.ITALY is going through a difficult period due to the heat and not only ITALY but I think the whole world. The power outage is on the agenda and we were called because one of the rooms in the hotel was without electricity and obviously without air conditioning and therefore the receptionist on duty immediately intervened to fix the fault.Our housekeeper always comes in to tidy up and refresh the room, she certainly turned off the light and accidentally lost a phone card.I gladly checked her in and we had a nice conversation, being from the same country and we are from the same neighborhood of birth. Please accept my apologies and it will be a lesson for our employee.Thank you in advance and I hope to see you again as our welcome guest as soon as possible.Best wishes and please can you great your Father from "Shubra"

The man on reception was lovely and very helpful. But the bed was very uncomfortable and it’s quite dated in it’s decor. It’s also in a block with many other hotels so it’s confusing a bit.

Really good location near Termini stations, loads of shops and restaurants nearby. No room service, if you need anything you talk to reception. I liked the place.

Great location next to train station. The WiFi did not work the last day (there were guests in the hallway trying to get a signal and were not successful). There was no signal even by the reception desk. The sound proofing is not great. Except for the WiFi problem, this property is a good value for money.

They were very helpful. giving us good information for our travels around the city. The breakfast was very basic but got us started. Convenient location for both train and metro, Plenty of restaurants in the nearby area, Tiny elevator/ Different hotels at each floor. Again plenty of help and courtesy form the owner and employees.

A no frills hotel close to the train station
This is a no frills hotel. No room service. Very basic amenities. The room is very small. It was however comfortable. The bathroom was fairly clean. The staff were generally pleasant and accommodative. The checkout time at 10.00am is ridiculous however. This is unconventional and unfair. The staff allowed some extension but still it should be at least 11.00. Location is great - 5 minutes walk to the train terminal.

Nice hotel
The hotel room was a good size. I've gone to Rome 3 times and this was one of the best. The only thing is that the elevator doesn't go to floor 0 so I had to carry the stroller with all our stuff to the 1st floor to grab the elevator. It's right next to termini station and not too far from the main attractions.

Good location and service
Location is very central and close to Termini. The nice gentleman (Sorry I didn't get him name) at the reception was very kind and obliging. We had to leave very early and he opened the office door so that we could get hot water for our drinks. I would recommend my friends to stay there. The only inconvenience is that you have to lug luggage up some steps before you access the lift.

Nice hotel near to Roma Termini Station
The location was good, very near to the Roma Termini. Lots of shops and restaurants around in the vicinty. However, the lift is not located at the exact ground floor, you need to carry your luggage up 2 flights of steps before reaching the lift landing. Air-conditioning is extra (not sure if is due to now being summer). The toilet gets wet/flooded easily as the only floor-trap is in the shower area. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience.

Close to train station
Old rooms, on fourth floor of hotel complex. Toilet seat broken, mould on shower curtain. Staff were friendly, helped with directions as much as they could with the English language barrier. Location was good, close to train station and restaurants, however if you have other choices I would stay elsewhere.

Great location just two blocks from Rome Termini Train Station. Many choices of restaurants right there on the street. The room is very small. The bathroom and shower are tiny. Two of the four nights there were noisy parties going on down the hall.

It was overall an average experience. Even if close to Termini, it was hard to find the hotel especially after a long day and the hotel is not very known in the region... The hotel is in one building with others, very small which makes us wait for the tiny elevator between levels... The breakfast buffet was good, we had a problem in hot water solved after 2 hours which was a bit stressing after a long day I personally do not recommend this hotel for a long stay, one night out of the whole stay is bearable

Wonderful Stay
My family and I stayed here for 5 nights in a quadruple room. we really enjoyed this hotel. The location was perfect because there were so many restaurants and it was a quick walk to Termini station. Plus you get a nice little breakfast every morning and you can store your luggage after check out. The staff was very nice and helped us with anything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Room was good Location is really good One man is really really kind :) Cons: Air Conditioning is PAID: €10 PER Day (it seems free in hotels.com) Breakfast is poor (Eggs, Breads, Juice... thats it) Quite smelly in the reception and breakfast area (when we visited) Some plugs in room doesn't work Overall: if you want AC (you will need it!) go to better hotel with €10 more (per day) Otherwise, room and location was good.

The hotel claims to have air conditioning in the description, but the hotel owner asked for 5 euro when we wanted to turn the air conditioner on. This is the first time I've been asked to pay extra to turn on the air-con, even though at last he offered it free of charge after we protested.

We had a really unhappy stay. Firstly, the door of our room could be shaked by hand which made us feel unsafe. Secondly, the free breakfast is really cheap - only a few of bread and limited boiled eggs - not enough for late guests. Thirdly, and the most important thing is the staff is watching on us all the time when we were having the breakfast. Forthly, their attitudes are really unfriendly.

It was a mistake. No AC, very small cramped room, substandard bathroom, small establishment, noisy rooms...... Great location, not too bad breakfast, free wifi in room. It would be wise to add a few bucks to nightly budget and seek better alternatives in the area

It Was Weird
The location right outside the hotel was okay, but it was really close to everything which was very nice. We could walk everywhere and Termini station was 3 minutes walking away which gets you to the airport. But, the room was small and not very clean. The curtains were dusty and the beds were so hard. The hallway smelled bad, like body odor covered with cologne. The elevator is small so you basically need to use the stairs. You go up two floors to get to the "lobby" which is small and is connected to the hotel restaurant and then the rooms are another two floors above that. Didn't eat there so can't say anything about that. The room was just very outdated, not very nice. Also, we wanted to leave our luggage since our flight was at night and check out was at 10:30 am but all they had for us was leaving our bags on the floor in a hallway next to the restaurant. Overall, wouldn't stay there again but would probably find another hotel in that same area.

Interesting hotel
This was the first hotel on our Europe trip. It is located near the main train station, Termini. Walking to the station, you'll pass streets with quaint shops, outdoor seating, and bakeries. Unfortunately, the block the hotel is on doesn't feel as nice or safe. Still, we never had a problem walking around at night. The hotel itself is a little hard to find. There is no sign outside, only within the courtyard that you'd have to find to get to the hotel. Once you find it, walk up one flight of stairs in order to take the small, 2-person elevator from floor 0 to the lobby. An impersonal man will greet you and inform you of a daily tax (per person) that is to be paid at check-out. You may discover that air conditioning is extra. The room itself was fine. Days were hot, but the nights were cool and we slept fine without A/C. However, the lights were a bit difficult to work. We just had to play with this "key" to get it to work. Be warned that if you book online and your reservation comes with certain perks (like wifi or breakfast), it seemed like the person behind the desk will not give you information pertaining to these perks unless you ask for it.
