Great staff so lovely.. Rooms are modern and the spa is a lovely touch to rest up after roaming all day. Breakfast is plentiful and the guys up there are so friendly. The rooftop gives great views of the area and Santa Maria... They can't do enough for you here and I would book again

Great location in Rome. Rooms were good sized and lots of storage. Beds are hard, walls are scuffed and dirty, just doesn’t seem well taken care of. Noise from other rooms was nearly unbearable at times. Elevator that serves 7 floors is so small, and doesn’t work regularly so beware. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t stay here again for the cost, it felt majorly lacking.

The bathroom had a really bad smell that we had to hold our breath to use the bathroom. Called the front desk and seemed like they already knew and said they’d get it fixed. Not sure what they did but we had to keep the door closed so the smell wouldn’t get to the bedroom. The toilet seat was broken and the coffee station in the room was full of dust. The guy at the front desk didn’t want to be bothered with anything. This was our last hotel on our 7 day trip to Italy and it wasn’t even close to a comfortable stay.

The hotel is close to public transport and many main attractions. It is modern and clean. We tried the breakfast and it was good too. Only it was very busy for the spa facilities and it was difficult to get a spot.When you are out and about exploring Rome and do not know when you will be back ,it is difficult to book a session.We were not so lucky.Book well in advance.

Do not go here. If it’s the last thing that you do, the shower was broken the spa is not even a real spa. The water in the jacuzzi was cloudy and it was located in the basement. It was very dirty and had a weird smell. The sauna was moist like a high school locker room I was very scared to sit in it. Salt room, more like lights LED lights behind a plastic screen with garden rocks jabbing my feet with lawn chairs facing the wall. We were told we were getting the upgraded suite come to find out it was on the first floor with a view of a concrete wall. TV wasn’t working. The shower head was messed up which resulted in water spraying everywhere. The staff itself was very helpful by holding our bags until we returned for a flight after checkout. I do not recommend !

Hi there, I was staying in 306 from Oct 27-29 I just want to express how upset I have been with my entire stay here at your hotel. This would be the first time I have ever complained about any business of any sort. First off I did not get a response from anyone in regards to a transfer from the airport to the hotel. I was still in Madrid when I emailed in regards to a transfer. I waited 2hrs with my daughter at the airport to even be able to get a driver to accept to take us to the hotel. 2nd upon arrival the room itself was not even close to a 4 Star Standard. There was hair from the previous stay and food crumbs in the sheets. Even used clothes was still in the room. Also had we known earlier that there was blankets available, we wouldn't have used our sweaters and jackets as blankets. Even the sink in the washroom is clogged and doesn't even drain properly. 3rd I just simply could not sleep anymore. My last night here, My 10 year old daughter and I could not sleep due to the arguing and domestic assault occurring outside and inside the hotel. I have video footage from this evening/morning. Had the police been contacted sooner, guests wouldn't be complaining about these other guests arguing, punching, slapping, choking, and screaming throughout the hotel. I personally even went to the suite itself to help the situation as it was unbearable to let it just pass over and just sleep it off. I just simply want a refund. I hope to hear from management.

The hotel was not the hotel in the pictures, it was a different building down the street that had no reception or amenities. Would not have booked if I new this. We had to walk up as the elevator looked unsafe. Also, we asked the front desk for a additional pillow as we each has one small pillow, they would not provide.

So so...
A little pricey for what was provided. Simple things like box of tissue unavailable. Staff was adequate but not what I would consider friendly. Steam sauna didn't work. There were no towels in the spa area. Roof top was closed. Bed side lights annoyingly would shutoff automatically after ~15mins and had to be turned on again constantly. It was just an accumulation of a lot of little things that were disappointing. We actually cancelled our reservations when we returned to Rome after visiting the Amalfi Coast and rebooked another hotel.

Very poor hotel, when I booked I thought I was booking the hotel in the advertised pictures but when I got there we were put in a different building which was very run down and in poor condition, the room had a lot of defects (broken curtains, power points not working, room wasn’t clean, sink plug not working, a lizard in the room) all of which we mentioned to hotel staff but nothing was done about it and they were not helpful at all. Over all we were very disappointed with our stay here!

Close walk from the metrolinx which was convenient, the hotel itself is average with small rooms, but when in Rome you will not be in there long. About a 20 minute walk to every monument.

Cool place, a little annoying that the lounge upstairs always tries to sell you something. After a long day doing touristic things, we wanted to hang out and lay back in the lounge and read a book, but we had to buy drinks and change shoes. Once our drinks were done we had to buy more or else we would get kicked out even if the place was empty.

Location was great. Close to train station and many restaurants. Room was available earlier than check in which was great but was not cleaned properly. Shower leaked. Spa was a purchase factor but was nothing like described. No maintenance done to salt room and steam did not work. The baths on the lower floor were decent but very busy.

When I booked this place one of my criteria was a pool and the other convenient in terms of accessibility to the room. In the booking it did mention our room was in the Annex but no mention that it is in another building across the road and to access the hotel amenities such as the pool or to have breakfast you had to exit the hotel go across a busy road into another building which different floor seemed to belong to other owners then get through number of doors in order to get to your room. Then there was the pool which was more of giant bath tub or a hot tub than a pool. On positive note the staff were nice and the room was clean but definitely the pictures and descriptions did not match.

Great spot for city break
Great location within short distance of main rail station with good airport connections. Walking distance of a lot of key tourist spots and very close to hop on hop off bus stop for those further away. Electric went off for about half a day but was fixed within ~6 hours (this seemed to have been planned). Small room but had everything we needed for a city break. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.

We did have an issue with hundreds of bugs in our room one night. We killed most of them and eventually my husband went and got a staff member. We were told they would spray the next day, but it never happened.

Absolutely delighted to share my fantastic experience at Hotel 77 in Rome! This gem of a hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that we had made an excellent choice. First off, the hotel's location is unbeatable – just a breezy 7-minute stroll from the Termini Bus and Train Station. The convenience of having a bus stop right by the hotel made exploring local attractions, such as the iconic Colosseum and the awe-inspiring Vatican City, an absolute breeze. Not to mention, a mere 15-minute walk brought us to the stunning Trevi Fountain. Upon check-in, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed about our room and the city tax. Throughout our stay, the staff's friendliness and tranquility were incredibly soothing. It's truly baffling to me why there might be any negative reviews, because in my experience, Hotel 77 showcased a perfect blend of 4-star facilities and top-notch 5-star customer service. The first day, we decided to pamper ourselves and booked an hour in the hotel's mini pool spa. To say it was a wonderful surprise would be an understatement. The spa featured two distinct areas with jacuzzis, a serene waterfall in the small pool, saunas, a steam room, a salt room, and even a mini gym. It was a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation. I must commend the staff again for their kindness and attentiveness.

The bed was really uncomfortable, when informed reception of this issue they said they couldn’t solve it. I asked for an additional duvet to act as a mattress topper but this was not available. We stayed on floor 6 which is the floor below the rooftop bar. Loud music until very late at night, had to go to reception to complain to turn it down as couldn’t sleep. Location of hotel is okay, 20 minute walk from Trevi fountain and colosseum and an hour from Vatican City. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a friend due to noise and discomfort

The pool in the spa was a little underwhelming and smelt a bit funny. We only had a view of the large air conditioning pipes from our room which were also quite noisy. The room itself though was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate- continental only. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I cannot find fault with this hotel excellent the one thing that was a bit annoying was their lift it was very small so you had quite a wait to get in but that was the only thing I could find that was not very good.

Very disappointed that Expedia even offers this hotel to their customers. I booked the family suite to find out once we arrived that it only sleeps 3 people. I requested a roll away bed and the service desk just never got back to me. When checking in they walked us ACROSS the street to a filthy building where they literally store all the garbage…. That’s right, you get to smell hot garbage every time you come or go from the hotel. Pool was dirty and smelled like mildew as it is in a basement. Overall it was disgusting experience and an absolute terrible place to stay. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL YOU WILL THANK ME LATER.
