The location is perfect,just a few minutes walk to piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain.Also Piazza del Popolo and nice shops and restaurants are close to the property.

Location excellent. The rooms very clean . In bathroom no hooks to hang your towels. No elevator. Rooms extremely small , no even one drawer for essentials other that a drawer under the sink. In common area a very small espresso coffee maker. No breakfast on the hotel and have to walk for breakfast about 2 blocks from hotel , the hotel provides vouchers, the coffee bar the baristas were very friendly and helpful. Sorry but will not stay there again to many inconveniences . The employees are very very nice.

We loved the location, the staff was very helful, and the room was very clean but very small and didn't have appropiate storage space. Also we had to walk a couple of blocks to get breakfast. Overall it is good value for ypur money.

Great find
We stayed four nights with our two girls, 9 & 6. It was a lovely space with two connected rooms, and two showers. Perfect for the family. Location is great, near Spanish steps, piazza populo and the park.

wrote: I really wanted to love this place because the rooms seemed pretty at first and it was a great location but after 3 nights I just can’t recommend it. Firstly, there is no safe in the rooms (crucial, in my opinion, for storing valuables - money, passport, gadgets etc.) and also no mini fridge (I don’t need a mini bar but a fridge to store food, especially when breakfast is not provided, is really handy.) When I booked, the info stated that the room would have both a fridge and a safe. Not OK. Secondly, the hotel is very loud - not the location or the other guests, which were both lovely and quiet, but the actual building itself. The walls are so thin you can hear everything: phones vibrating in other rooms, water running very noisily down the pipes. On my last night, the shower starting dripping incessantly at about 1am. It sounded like bubble wrap being popped loudly and nothing would stop it. Because there is no 24 hour reception, there was no one to call to fix it or complain. Even shutting the bathroom door didn’t help. To make matters worse, the cleaners had left the bathmat in the shower (???) so when the shower dripped it soaked everything. For the price of this place, I expected so much better.

Beautiful, very clean and modern rooms. Hotel is in a great location between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. I would definitely stay here again!

Very cool luxury rooms. Great locations!
The biggest problem I personally had was that the bed was extremely uncomfortable for me. The staff is very friendly and gave me an extra comforter to try to give it a bit more cushion. I appreciate the effort, but would not choose there again for that reason. The week before I stayed at the Trastevre location and had the most comfortable bed I've ever had in Italy, so perhaps thats why the Margutta location was a disappointment to me. Also, my room in Trastevre had a mini fridge and Margutta did not. Via Margutta is one of the prettiest streets in Rome, and very quiet, so if you don't mind a very firm bed the rest was great! I would for sure stay at their Trastevre location again. Even though it is noisier...

Absolutely beautiful. The room was lovely and modern, with great interior arty decoration that extends right to the entrance of the hotel. The street it's on is lovely yet quiet which is unheard of in Roma, also the location is a 2 minute walk from the Spanish Steps. The staff are also very kind and really helpful! Would love to stay again

Fantastic location by Spanish Steps!
Great place in excellent location. The hotel is located on a side street with a number of interesting stores and art galleries. The hotel has distinct and unique style with each room its own character. I like it so much I cannot wait to get back again. This location made my Rome visit very memorable.

We did not enjoy this hotel. The staff was not helpful, the room we were given "Cloe" was too small, hot and loud and no storage. The air did not work. The booking said King Tempur pedic - it was not. It was a cheap uncomfortable double mattress. The "art" cannot make up for comfort. Very misleading.

The only negative aspect of our stay in Rome
My husband and I LOVED Rome, but we could not wait to check out of this hotel. The staff were not always available, and although they give you a phone number to call outside of business hours, no one ever picked it up. Our room was tiny and cramped, and the safe didn't work properly. That would have been okay, but the shower drain was PAINFULLY slow. Our biggest problem though is that whoever cleaned our room actually repeatedly moved all of our personal belongings--our bags, items on the nightstands and the desk, and EVEN the laundry that we had washed and hung up. NOT OKAY. I don't know of any other hotel/B&B whose cleaning staff would do this. It was such an incredible invasion that we had to ask them not to enter our room at all on our last couple of days there. We are definitely going back to Rome, but we will never stay here again.

Very well situated 5 min from the Spanish Stairs. The room was very clean. As negative points, the room was very small, and we could hear the people in the rooms next to ours. We arrived after 9 pm and we had to pay 20 euros to ensure that somebody would be there to give us the key.

All round GREAT experience
Staff were extremely helpful and kind, helped with transfers and any questions we had. Cleanliness was second to none, clean towels every day and hoovered and cleaned (even folded our clothes). BRILLIANT location central to most things and near Metro stations for colosseum and Vatican! Wouldn't stay anywhere else if we visited again. No breakfast but this didn't bother us at all.

From checking in to checking out our stay was faultless. I have nothing but praise for BDB Margutta. Unbelievable location, fabulous staff and a great boutique hotel. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome ever again.

Modern, clean but small
The room was very modern and clean. There were some luxury additions such as robes and slippers but that is where it ends. The room was very small and not enough ground space for 2 suitcases. Mine had to go under the bed. Breakfast was nice but basic (continental style). I found the bed extremely uncomfortable and woke every morning with aching bones. I asked for a second pillow and was told they had none left. I thought this was unacceptable. Very noisy small back street ..... Woken every morning before 6.00am

Great stay at the BDB Luxury Rooms. The location was excellent just a minute walk from The Spanish Steps..All attractions an enjoyable short stroll away. Room spotless clean and very modern..on the small side but perfect for a short stay where you spend little time in your room anyway. Would definitely recommend and return to this accommodation

Had a great stay, super independent, didn't have usual reception so could come and go as we pleased. I did quite miss the tea and coffe facilities that normally come with hotels and also the air conditioning was quite loud but due to weather we were having we had to try and ignore that. Any encounters we had with staff were very friendly. Great apartments, would recommend.

The hotel was beautiful although it's more like an apartment than a hotel. The reception is next door and the dining area is across the road. It is very central and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and most of the tourist attractions. It was clean, comfortable and modern. The only negative was that the room was very small. We would also suggest coffee/tea making facilities in the room as there was none which was rather inconvenient.

Great location near the Spanish Steps but in a quiet small street. Easy to walk to major attractions. Reception not manned all hours so need to time arrival/departure a little, otherwise ring. Would definitely stay at Margutta again!

Highly recommend this boutique hotel.
Small boutique hotel with 7 rooms. Great location on a small street nestled close to the Spanish Stairs and the Metro. Also close to all tourist attractions. My room was small but furnished nicely with a lovely view onto the quite street. I highly recommend staying here!
