We stopped for a night, on our way to Sicily. It's a big complex from the 1970s, and some parts are a bit outdated, or needing a refurbishment. But the staff is also very friendly and helpful, and the beach and the pool facilities are really good, that was all we needed to have a great time there!

A stunning, beautiful resort that blends seamlessly into the natural beauty around it. Breakfast is amazing, and the supper menu changes daily, features local ingredients, and was always delicious. We played tennis twice and enjoyed the spa. There’s a beautiful sunset over the ocean every night. I cannot recommend this resort any higher, and we will definitely be back.

it wasn’t what we expected for a 5 star. room cramped. off the highway. not close to beach (photos on orbitz we re deceiving) no porters for luggage. we moved the last night to a four star 15 mins away with far superior amenities right on beach didn’t offer refund for that night. far better options around. don’t be deceived by the stars

Beautiful resort located directly on the water. Beautifully-maintained property with very kind and hospital staff. Over an hour away from Lamezia Terme airport. This was our first time in Calabria and we'll be back for sure.
Plan to book taxis (which are a bit expensive, but it's understandable for the region) or rent a car to explore Ricadi and Capo Vaticano. Visiting Tropea is a must, about a 15-minute drive from the resort.

"No hot water the 1st day. Television was not working properly. Staff was helpful. The hotel is really far from Tropea city center & beach. Needed to walk in the heat, no public transportation. Breakfast was very good. There is no open restaurant nearby."
