"Everything about this stay was perfect. Our suite was so spacious and immaculately appointed. The dinner menu was amazing, served up on Villeroy & Boch crockery by a delightful and attentive waiter. The infinity pool…. The marvellous view…. The fascinating artworks…. I could go on and on!"

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos, sehr sauber, ruhig gelegen und wirklich hervorragend ausgestattet – von Kaffeemaschine und Spülmaschine bis zu Wasserspender, Gefrierschrank und Eiswürfelmaschine ist alles vorhanden.Simone ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Besonders nett war der Willkommenskuchen bei unserer Ankunft. Auch die Lage ist ideal: Strand, Pisa und Viareggio sind gut erreichbar.Für uns hat alles gepasst – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen."

"Es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt in den Bergen mit einem phänomenalen Ausblick. Der Weg ist das erste Mal nicht so einfach zu finden aber es lohnt sich. Das Haus war sauber, es war alles da, was man benötigt und Donatella war immer sofort hilfsbereit. Auch nach einem heftigen Gewitter mit kurzem Stromausfall war sie sofort zur Stelle. Wir waren auch trotz der Abgelegenheit in den Bergen sehr gut angebunden und in 15 Minuten am Strand. Man ist auch sehr schnell in Pisa oder Lucca. Ich würde diese Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen. Danke, Donatella!"

"Loved that all bedrooms had ensuites. As well as having the wood fired pizza oven was a hit. AC for all the bedrooms made for very comfortable sleeping. Not a lot or that big of a deal…..however to note a few for future planning. Better kitchen utensils, as all knives were very dull for cutting. More tea towels for kitchen, and a working blender. Better quality and more pillows in the bed would be nice. As well pool net for cleaning was broken and taped in half…would have been nice to have a working one to clean a lot of leaves off top."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and can highly recommend this beautiful property.The communication with the hosts was excellent from start to finish – they were always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond.The location is simply stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and so peaceful. The house is spacious and offers plenty of room to relax. With four comfortable bedrooms, there was more than enough space for everyone. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed.The huge swimming pool was a real highlight of our stay and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also loved that there is a lovely beach just 20 minutes away by car, a good supermarket only 10 minutes away, and several excellent restaurants within a 15–20 minute drive.One of our favorite little details was the friendly chickens that came to visit every morning – it added so much charm and made the experience feel even more special.We have already started dreaming about coming back. Thank you for a truly unforgettable holiday!"

"Sehr schöne Tage in einem charmanten, älteren, authentischen Haus in ländlicher Idylle.Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Giovanni ist ein aufmerksamer, jederzeit erreichbarer und liebenswerter Gastgeber. Er spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch, was vieles erleichtert. Das Haus hat schöne Räume, wertiges Mobiliar, unglaublich viele Bücher und sehr viel Charme. Da verzeiht man gerne die ein oder andere kleine Schwäche (Belastbarkeit Stromnetz, Wasserpumpengeräusch bei Toilettenspülung). Die Schlafzimmer und das Bad sind gut gegen Moskitos geschützt. Der Aufstellpool ist groß und gepflegt, nebendran ist eine nette Sitzgruppe mit Tisch, Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme. Etwas Besonderes ist der große Vorraum mit dem Tischtennistisch. Wir habe gerne dort gespielt. Das Haus steht auf einem riesigen Grundstück zusammen mit einem weiteren Gebäude, das von Giovannis Bruder bewohnt wird. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die toskanische Landschaft. Die Lage ist ruhig, fast ländlich. In kurzer Auto-Entfernung liegt Lucca mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man hat viele Optionen für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen in der näheren Umgebung (Meer und Strand, Wanderungen in den Bergen, diverse Stadtbesichtigungen, etc.). Ein Auto ist hierfür aber fast obligatorisch. Alles bestens, nochmals vielen Dank an Giovanni."
